May I just start with what a beautiful restaurant! The entire vibe is lovely- soft music, chandeliers, comfortable booths and a fully stocked bar. The team worked together to serve us, almost like a relay, and it clearly displayed the communal goal of the best service and experience possible. The staff were attentive and kind, the atmosphere was wonderful, and of course, the food! We got the vegetable samosas, garlic naan, chicken tiki masala and coconut chicken, and of course, mango lassi! The samosas were authentic and delicious, the naan had the perfect mix of crispy, buttery, and fluffy, and I literally cannot explain the way the tiki masala sauce melted on my tongue. The rice was beautifully cooked, the lassi was fantastic, and the presentation was gorgeous. I cannot rate this place high enough and fully intend on returning! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

This place is absolutely amazing! The host who I’m assuming is the owner is so unbelievably sweet and has some great recommendations! The food is so good and has so much flavor and the drinks are super yummy as well. Definitely recommend if you are trying to expand your palette and have a nice night!

As someone from South India, I’m very particular about authentic flavors and this place truly impressed me. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of genuine, traditional taste. You can really tell that nothing is frozen or pre-made; everything tastes freshly prepared and thoughtfully crafted.
The staff were extremely polite, welcoming, and helpful. They patiently suggested some of the best dishes on the menu, which made the experience even better. Even during busy hours, the wait time was surprisingly short, and the service remained attentive and organized.
The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a relaxed meal with family and friends. Every dish we tried was flavorful, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. It’s rare to find a place that maintains both authenticity and consistency like this.
This has easily become one of my favorite spots now. Not only will Indians appreciate the true flavors, but I genuinely believe even Americans and people from all backgrounds would absolutely love the food here. Highly recommended! I truly appreciate the effort and quality they deliver!

Amazing Indian and Nepalese food. Any place with a vast goat and lamb selection wins. Menu has plenty of the classics but lots of dishes don’t normally see at other Indian restaurants. Only downside is the AC condensation drips from pipes (so choose your seat carefully) and service is slow. The positive is the food is awesome.

There is an element of authenticity in the way Hari Prasad ji operates his restaurant. It has great food & service . That’s undoubtedly. But the way he serves and connects with customers exemplifies Indian/Nepali Ethos & values. He connects and so does his food. Totally a recommendation.

We had a group of 10 people, but unfortunately, there was no proper fan or cooling system near our table, and it was uncomfortably hot.
The food was overall good — I ordered the Biryani, which was just average, but the other dishes were much better.
Despite the heat, it’s definitely worth a try!

words cannot express my love for this place. every single dish is made with love and care and it is obvious with every bite. i have no intention to bash another business but before namaste came to town the closest quality indian food was in roanoke. the staff are incredibly friendly and extremely willing to help you pick a dish if you’re unfamiliar with the cuisine. they always make sure your drinks are full and you have everything you need. they time everything really well and you never feel rushed out of the restaurant or like you’re waiting around for the check. which goes to show how much consideration the staff has for their guests. beside the fact that the food is absolutely beyond delicious and absolutely to die for, the portions are extremely generous and worth every penny. the environment is perfectly clean and i’ve never walked in to see tables waiting to be bussed or food on the floor, which is refreshing compared to most restaurants. the food always comes out impressively quick. if i had the budget, i would honest to god eat here at least once a week. if you’re looking for good food, attentive staff, and a sparkling environment, i truly suggest you try this place, you won’t regret it.

Best Indian/ Nepalese food place in the christiansburg and Blacksburg area!! Definitely try the chowmien if you like savory and spicy foods 🙂 really great main courses too. The portion sizes for the prices are pretty accurate too.
If you wanna be downtown and want to eat and drink in one of the best atmospheres, definitely give this place a shot, I am a regular so I definitely love it here!!
Make sure to look for Anish the owner, such a sweet and friendly guy, and for the server, definitely look for Aakash, always running with orders but always with a hearty smile!!!

Delicious goat and lamb dishes, mango lassi, and naan, but busy/popular and more on the slower side when it comes to the dinnertime service.
Our party of two arrived ~5mins after they opened for dinner on a Saturday, and most of the tables were already occupied with guests (a good sign that this place is popular). The inside was beautiful. We were seated immediately, and given some sort of chips and green dip. The dip was tasty with a kick of spice.
We ordered mango lassis, the mixed basket of naan (butter, garlic, and cheese), kadai goat with a spice level of 5 (the highest level, our waitress said it was “Indian spicy”), and lamb butter masala with a spice level of 2. Everything was delicious. My partner’s goat wasn’t as spicy, but the flavor was still pretty good. Level 2 spice had a slight kick of spice, which was what I expected. The cost of the entrees was more on the pricier side for the amount you get.
I believe the restaurant opened about 3 weeks ago(?) and it is still very popular. The staff we interacted with were friendly (it seemed as if each person had their own task/s other than your typical hostess, server, and buss person ie. serving the chips and dip, taking orders, bringing food, refilling drinks, taking payments). The one server who filled our waters was attentive, but I believe they may be understaffed or still working out the dinner rush. The service was on the slower side from the moment we sat down to paying the bill. Maybe it was extra busy due to families of new students here for the weekend..? But at one point, we watched guests line up outside the restaurant, waiting to be seated, meanwhile there were two tables that had been ready to be bussed. Simultaneously, we had been ready to pay for the bill for at least 15mins (we tried getting someone’s attention a few times, but were ignored – the tables were bussed and new guests were seated instead). I can’t imagine how busy it would be when the students come back.
Overall, amazing food; I’m sure we’ll be back. Hopefully the service will be quicker. Maybe we’ll try eating there during their lunch hours instead.

Located at the heart of Virginia tech , Blacksburg , a college town this Nepali/Indian restaurant was a delight for us . About 1 hr away from Roanoke , it was worth the drive . We tried steamed chicken momo , chicken chilli momo , chicken tandoori and chicken chow mein . Chicken momo and chicken chow mein was really authentic and bring back memories from Nepal , chicken tandoori was just average . I would really recommend steamed chicken momo , loved it !! Little crowded with students but service was pretty quick and staff were really friendly . Nice decor inside and also have a little area outside for dining . Certainly recommend this Nepali restaurant if you are traveling around the area .
