This rank as one of the worse Indian food I’ve had.
I had mutton madras medium and it’s stupid. Maybe it’s to mask the taste of this poorly made dish. I’m in my 60’s, I’ve been eating this type of food for 40 years. They can’t justify this price for this quality. It’s ridiculous!

They lie about the freshness of their food and it’s not authentic at all. Subpar Indian food. Regret. They heated up old naan and gave it to me.

Ordered through Uber eats. They had a buy1 get 1 offer on the mutton Biriyani. Went to order and there was the choice of small, medium or large. Medium was + $4.99 and large was an additional $9.99. so, I ordered the small thinking it would be enough as it normally is. But when it arrived, I was shocked at literally how small the portion was. This feels like a massive scam. $24.99 for this( see pic, for reference I’ve put a pack of cheese next to it)?!! Is this a joke???it would’ve been a consolation if the taste was good(It was HORRIBLE). I’m never ordering from here again. Wouldn’t recommend anyone ever order from here. Wish I could return it for a refund. What a waste.

Pathetic food. I ordered a big meal and everything was tasteless. We ordered malai chicken tikka which was undercooked. Paneer butter masala was tasteless, Delhi style butter chicken nowhere taste like butter chicken. Chilly paneer had all the soya in it. Disappointing!

Ordered delivery, received all the items we ordered. The food needs a bit more flavour and can be a little more spicy. Beef biryani was okay, beef was very chewy. Veg thali which came with my favourite items Shahi paneer, Chana and dal makhni was pretty good, naan was awesome gravy felt like it was too sweet. I’m not sure how far it’s true but I have heard they use sugar in all their recipes to make it mild. I specifically wrote in comments to make it Indian style so I was expecting a bit spicy and flavourful. Overall it was pretty good food.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE
They are nothing but thieves who will take your money and laugh while you chase them for food you’ll never get..
I placed an $85 order through SkipTheDishes — 2 chicken curries, samosas, paneer pakora, 2 naan, 2 rice, and mango chutney. What did I actually get? ONE chicken curry, ONE naan, and ONE rice. That’s it. Not even half my order.
When I called the restaurant, the man on the phone couldn’t have cared less. He told me to “come back tomorrow” for the rest of my food. I went back THREE TIMES that day and every single time they were CLOSED. He knew full well they wouldn’t be open and still lied just to get me off the phone.
This isn’t even the first time they’ve done this — in the past they’d leave out small items, which was already frustrating. But this time they stole over HALF my order. Since then, I’ve called more than 20 times, spoken to a “manager” three times, and every single time the line mysteriously gets cut off. Try to call back? Phone’s off the hook. I’ve even gone there in person over SEVEN more times in the past week, always during their posted hours, and they are never open.
They are not willing to fix this, not willing to refund me or giving me what I paid for., and clearly not willing to run an honest business.

The absolute worst. Kingston has excellent Indian restaurants — avoid Namaste West entirely. The negative reviews are all true and we had a similar experience.
The ratings are deceiving on UberEats — the food is flavourless (canned grocery food has more flavour), dry and the butter chicken tastes like tomato soup — even after we reordered.
Order at Mint, Daal Roti, or many other excellent choices in Kingston. Do not order from Namaste West.
The absolute worst.

Very poor service, never answers the phone, you try to order from them via uber, they will not respond for a good 30 minutes and then cancel the order. And if at all the order does go through, then there will be multiple items missing from the order. Very disappointed in their service…

Rude customer service. First, they ignored the allergy request and preference notes for the entire order. So we had to wait for it to be remade. Then when we get home we realize they omitted 2 items in our order. We called them and asked if the could deliver the items – no. Could it be a store credit? No. Come get it now or never. Will never order here again, and clearly we arent alone based on the reviews others have left.

Worst to worst experience ever i had in kingston is ordering from namaste west. Took 45 minutes to prepare still not ready. When i make a call to the restaurant, they said they burnt the pranthas. And took more 15 minutes. Which restaurant took 1 hour to prepare the order? they were too rude on call. Didnt even apologise. Never order from namaste west.
