Reviews
If you are craving Indian food in Cairo, this spot delivers on flavor. The curries are rich and spicy—just the way they should be. While the portion sizes for the curries are on the smaller side, the pricing is fair and reflects the quantity.
Highlights:
• Butter Naan & Garlic Naan: Absolutely fantastic—soft, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
• Kadai Chicken & Goat Curry: Both dishes were aromatic, well-spiced, and cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend trying them.
Overall:
A great option for Indian cuisine lovers looking for an authentic and flavorful experience in Cairo. Good food, reasonable prices, and bold spices that hit the spot!
Freshly made per order. Allow them time to prepare.
Nice. Quite ambience
Courteous staff.
Loved it
We tried a wide selection of dishes: Chicken Biryani, Bhajias, Mulligatawny Soup, Murgh Tikka, Tarka Dal, Murgh Tikka Masala, Jeera Chawal, Lasooni Naan, and Paneer Kulcha. The flavors were rich, authentic, and beautifully balanced, especially the Murgh Tikka Masala and Lasooni Naan, which stood out as favorites. The bhajias were crispy and flavorful, and the Murgh Tikka was perfectly grilled and well-marinated.
A couple of areas for improvement: the Mulligatawny Soup could have been seasoned a bit more to bring out its full depth of flavor. Also, the rice in both the Chicken Biryani and Jeera Chawal was slightly undercooked, which affected the texture of otherwise well-spiced dishes.
Overall, we had a great experience, and would definitely return for another delicious meal. Namaste offers a lovely taste of India in the heart of Cairo – highly recommended for Indian food lovers!
Food was delicious and of great quality. The staff are very welcoming and the ambience and cleanliness of the restaurant are inviting.
We tried Butter Chicken, Paneer Tikka Masala and Lamb Vindaloo with Biryani and naans for sides and they didn’t disappoint.
Mango lassi was a cool finisher.
Definitely recommend it.
But taste was authentic.
Could add few starter options to depict more of Indian flavours.
And no— the restaurant isn’t full. There are 3 other tables with 2 people each.
Come here only if you like waiting forever for your food. C’mon Hilton… you should do better for the $$$ you’re charging!!!
This is pretty ridiculous.
