The host/owner and cook both are soo fabulous at their work. I seriously mean it as my husband and I are originally from Delhi and we don’t even get this yumm dal makhni, garlic naan, paneer dishes in Bangalore (as we are working there for some years).
We literally kept discussing food that we will order for the day every single day as we could not count this yummm food we will find once in bangalore.
Must must mustt place when you are in Rome.
I don’t even hesitate to say you plan a trip to Roma for their food!! Handss down the best indian food in town..
Bus 81,5,14 all go thru this restaurant and also many trams.
Please drop in here and you will thank us..
thank you Namaste India Roma for hosting us ❤️❤️❤️❤️
back for another dinner.
When Punjab is far, far away—both from Rome and Atlanta—you learn to truly value a good daal, gobi, and paneer makhni. And this place gets it.
I made a special request as a pendu Punjabi guy from the U.S. of A:
“Pind daa swaad chahidaa haey veerey.”
Vicky bhaaji paused for a second, smiled, and said:
“Aaho! Hor bhaaji kee banavangey?”
That moment said everything.
The language was Punjab. The taste was Punjab.
Felt like I tasted Rome in Punjab instead of Punjab in Rome.
And let’s be honest—it’s not easy to please the ladies in the group. But after pizza, pasta, pizza, pasta across Venice and the Dolomites, when they finally say:
“Bas, ab ghar ka swaad chahiye” — you know you’ve won the day. This place delivered that feeling of home.
Europe has some great Punjabi food spots—and this is one of them.
If you’re Punjabi, missing home, or just want food made with heart—don’t think twice.
Highly recommended.
Thanks to the owner for a great experience.
