Visited this restaurant today and had a fantastic experience. We tried a starter platter with samosas, onion pakoras, and potato pakoras, all crispy and flavorful. The paneer starter and tandoori starter were delicious and well cooked.
For the main course, we had a variety of naans, palak paneer, butter masala, lamb curry, and chilli paneer — every dish was rich in taste and beautifully prepared. We also enjoyed Indian beers and local beers, which went perfectly with the food.
Everything was fresh, tasty, and satisfying. Truly enjoyed the meal — highly recommended and will definitely visit again!

Lovely experience at Namaste. The staff was very courteous, answered all our questions and provided recommendations. He got the spice level for the lamb vindaloo exactly right for me, offering to adjust it if necessary. Suggested a lovely indian rum to wrap up the meal. Excellent Indian food. Would go back.

Amazing food and great taste! The chicken tandoori was the best – perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. All the curries were excellent, especially the butter chicken and palak paneer, which were rich, creamy, and delicious. I am here in Luebeck for 3 weeks for work, however the issue for me was to find a near authentic Indian restaurant which can serve you Veg food. I was walking through the street and the moment I walked by Namaste India, I had this delicious auroma which took me directly to the restaurant.
The sitting arrangement is good and I chose the corner table wherein you can see ‘Namaste’ on a wall with attractive lights. The corner table by the window offered just the right amount of privacy whilst still feeling connected to the restaurant’s warm atmosphere.
The Veg food was really good with Incredible value for the quality we received! Every dish was expertly prepared, and the portions were satisfying without being overwhelming.

Absolutely loved this place! The food was truly amazing—fresh, flavorful, authentic and made with so much care that it felt just like home. The homely and welcoming atmosphere instantly puts you at ease. A special mention for offering Jain food, prepared thoughtfully and authentically. The owners are incredibly kind and warm, and their hospitality made the experience truly special. They made my Lübeck experience so beautiful and memorable. Highly recommended!

We were visiting Lübeck and exploring the city and walking around when I said that I can smell Indian food and we just followed that fragrance as it felt very homely food fragrance. And there it was Namaste India after we walked about 200m.
We saw the menu and entered. The staff helped us with a table.
We ordered Jhinga (prawn) Biryani, Chhole Bhature, Mango Lassi, Banana Lassi. All the food items were delicious. Staff is very much polite, cares about the customers. The food has good Indian taste ❤️. Ambience was good with good music.
