What made the experience even better was the staff. They were genuinely warm, sincere, and welcoming. We actually got to know them a bit and really enjoyed the conversations, which made the meal feel even more special. This place isn’t just about great food — it’s about great people too.
As soon as my husband opened the food, there was a strong smell of stale oil. Despite that, we decided to give it a chance — but with every bite, it became increasingly difficult to enjoy the meal.
The parathas had a generous filling, but lacked flavor and still carried the same unpleasant stench. The dal felt greasy and watery, with very little depth or richness in taste. The aloo sabzi was noticeably under-seasoned, despite my request for it to be seasoned well. Even the jeera rice felt off in texture, with each grain feeling hard and unpleasant to bite into.
This was especially disappointing for me as I am a chef myself, and the food felt far from what one would expect from a home-cooked meal.
I do want to add that the lady who spoke to me was very sweet and courteous, and I truly appreciate her kindness. My feedback is directed only toward the food preparation, as it seems there is significant room for improvement in the kitchen.
This review is not meant to discourage or put anyone down, but to offer honest feedback that may help improve the overall experience for future customers.
EDIT- I initially did not want to sound overly critical in my review. My intention was simply to provide honest and constructive feedback. I also refrained from mentioning that my husband fell sick after eating. However, the owner’s response — a copy-paste of someone else’s review that completely ignored the concerns I raised — left me no choice but to clarify. This approach was dismissive and unprofessional, reflecting an inability to accept genuine feedback.
I would also like to clarify that we did not order biryani, contrary to what was mentioned in the response. I ordered here based on the high ratings and numerous positive reviews, expecting a quality experience.
A Lesson in Professional Conduct-
Your response is unnecessarily aggressive and deeply unprofessional.
Where I choose to order food before or after your restaurant is entirely my prerogative as a paying customer. Attempting to imply wrongdoing based on my ordering history is both irrelevant and inappropriate.
You demand a doctor’s report, as though food-related illness comes with a branded certificate naming a restaurant. My review was based on our lived experience after consuming your food. It was factual and within my right to share.
You state that you “accept negative reviews,” yet your tone suggests otherwise. Resorting to screenshots, insinuations, and personal remarks does not demonstrate integrity — it reveals insecurity.
As someone who claims years of experience in the food industry, you should understand that professionalism is measured not by defensiveness, but by composure under criticism.
I stand by my review.
I suggest you focus less on questioning customers and more on reflecting on feedback.
