Very good food! This place definitely satisfied my craving for curry. One of our servers was great, but the other was pretty aloof. If not for that, this would have been a 5-star review!

I regularly get biryani from this place. But yesterday I bought biryani and it was terrible, it was the same since few months. I made a phone call order nd went to pick it up after 30 minutes nd they totally forgot about my order. NO CHICKEN( hardly 3 pieces) there was just rice in it , No onions, no lemon, nd said they had no raitha. Very disappointed with the service.

Impressively delicious food. Been coming here since before covid, they are an ann arbor staple. Highly recommend the chana masala especially if you are vegan or vegetarian. Also handled our allergies well.

Family wanted some Indian food and I came across this place in Ann Arbor. It had good reviews so I figured we should give it a go. Im so glad we did because this was some of the best Indian food we’ve had in a long time. Everything we got tasted amazing. Even my husband loved everything and he always complains about something when we eat somewhere or bring it home. My husband got the shrimp vindaloo, me and my daughter got chicken tikka masala, and my son got the shrimp tikka. We also got vegetable pakodas and the cheese kulchas.

We had lunch at Namaste Flavours Arbor, and for some of us, it was our first time there. There were tons of options to pick from, and our server was super helpful in going over the menu. We tried a great mix of appetizers, drinks, and main dishes, and everything was tasty! We can totally see ourselves coming back when we’re in Ann Arbor.

Taste is average not bad, but not great either. The place is decent, service is fine, and the prices are okay, but the food could be better.

My first time in Ann Arbor and first time having authentic Indian cuisine, and I was completely blown away! They have customer parking out back (bonus!). The decor was lovely, even the tables had beautiful painted sceens on them. Got the veg samosas, punugulu, and butter chicken, and it all looked and tasted fantastic. The samosas were a surprise, with a well seasoned and spicy filling. The punugulu had two dipping sauces, one sweet and one a bit spicy that complemented the seasoned fried dough wonderfully. The butter chicken was full of flavor, and the chicken was very tender. Everything was well seasoned with just enough spice. It came out to $30 with enough to feed two! I was only able to eat half, took the rest home, and my brother ate it. His first time eating Indian cuisine as well, and he loved it all! Hope to get an opportunity to come back someday!

The food offerings are unremarkable, resembling leftovers rather than freshly prepared dishes. For those seeking authentic Indian cuisine, there are numerous superior options available. Additionally, the service provided is subpar. It is perplexing why the staff exhibits such a lack of customer service. We ordered a starter dish first, but the plates were never picked up, and the remaining food was placed on top of everything, creating a cluttered and disorganized dining experience. The overall service was extremely poor.

I love this restaurant! The food is always excellent – I really like the biryanis in particular. Tonight I picked up an order while it was very busy and all the tables appeared to be full. The man at the counter was so kind to everyone who came in while I was there, even though it must have been a stressful night. I don’t know his name, but he was a wonderful host even to the customers who were frustrated about the long wait times. The wait is worth it though – the food is soooo good. 🙂 Don’t miss the samosas and mango lassi!

Namaste Flavours is our go-to restaurant for Indian food in Ann Arbor. The dishes are truly flavorsome and exciting! This time, I particularly enjoyed the bhindi masala, which elevates a simple dish of okra to something much more special, with rich spices and herbs. As always, the channa batura was delicious and filling, fluffy yet full of texture, deep-fried yet non-greasy. Similarly, the naan-bread was light, soft, and not oily at all. My wife ordered shrimp vindaloo, which had a strong kick to it. We are also particularly fond of the vegetarian samosas – they are the best we have tried so far. Our waiter, Kishore, was extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. We were left completely satisfied by our experience and are looking forward to coming back soon.

Update: We came back again the following day. We really liked the Mirchi Bajji, which was crisp, light and not too spicy. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the fish curry, which was tender and delicious. Most of all, the Sambar is an all time favorite of ours; it is tangy, sweet and spicy.

Further update: We came back again, three days in a row – the food must be great :-). The Gobi 65 was crispy, freshly cooked and addictive, while the Fish Tikka was extremely scrumptious and tangy on a sizzling hot plate, accompanied by plenty of vegetables. I particularly liked the Ginger Paneer and how the creaminess of the paneer complemented the spiciness of the ginger. The Carrot Halwa was immensely delicious and rich in flavor. The food was so exquisite and superb, my wife ordered a fish curry to take out and indulge at home!

Yet another update: The Apollo Fish is AMAZING and ADDICTIVE! It was not on the printed menu, but you can ask for it especially. The fish is lightly battered and sautéed with chilies and turmeric. It is tangy and spicy, with a lot of flavor. We definitely recommend it! We also ordered the Spring Dosa, which were crispy, fresh and very filling. The Aloo Bonda has a crunchy and light layer on the outside, with creamy and aromatic potato on the inside. We have noticed that the food served when dining in is fresher and with relatively larger portions than take out, so we encourage people to dine in, if possible, for the great atmosphere.

Update: 05/19/2022: The paneer dosa is light, crispy, savory and with complementing condiments. We also ordered the Dal Makhani, which was rich and buttery, with a creamy and flavorful aroma taste. The tandoori chicken was also delicious.
