We visited with a group of 5 people and ordered 2 chicken Mandi and one paneer fried rice. We had to wait about 30 minutes for the Mandi, and no one informed us about the waiting time when we placed the order. Since we were very hungry, we even thought of leaving and went outside, but then they called us saying the food was ready.
Also, the table next to us was doing promotion videos and they were getting their food quickly as needed that frustrated us more, while regular customers were waiting. It felt like customers were being neglected because of the promotion. It would be better if the restaurant informed customers about the waiting time in advance so we can choose other options if needed. Overall, the taste was good, but better communication and equal attention to all customers would improve the experience.

My first experience here. It was recommended by a friend that I was with that day. The service was slow and there was a bit of a communication issue. I was disappointed that they only had canned drinks with nothing on tap. There was no ice tea available either. I ordered the Saag Paneer which was really good but my stomach was not happy at all the next day. I am not sure if it was too much fiber or something else. I also ordered the Roti bread. I require gluten-free and inquired whether or not the bread was gf. The server said that it was but honestly, it tasted so amazing that I think it must have contained wheat in it. Thankfully, I didn’t have any reactions to it so I am thinking that maybe it didn’t and that the bread just tasted that good! My friend told me that this was mainly a “to go” restaurant but there were a few groups there even though it was a holiday and UNT was closed for the winter break.

We tried the Chicken Juicy Mandi, and it was absolutely amazing — definitely the best in Denton! The flavors were perfect, and the portion was generous. The staff were super kind and friendly — they even surprised us with three complimentary drinks, which made our experience even better. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and warm hospitality!

The butter chicken and garlic naan are must-tries, and the vegetable samosas are the perfect starter. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is both casual and charming. Whether you’re a fan of spice or prefer something mild, there’s something for everyone. Highly recommended for a delicious, memorable meal!

Recently ordered a catering order from Namaste Denton and everything was really good. We had Raju Gari Kodi Vepudu, Apollo Fish, curd rice, and chicken dum biryani—all at a very reasonable price. The taste was authentic and felt just like Indian food back home. My friend and I enjoyed it a lot. Raju Gari Kodi Vepudu is a must-try, pakka! Will definitely order again.

We went with two friends for lunch. We had one vegetarian and three meat eaters in the group. We were all extremely happy with both the food taste, amount (plenty for lunch), and presentation. The server was nice and efficient. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. We had no peeled having conversation. We found the music a bit louder than we preferred, asked if they would turn it down, which they did immediately. We had the paneer 64 for an appetizer. I highly recommend it – spicy and delicious. Again, the entrees were great. We had chai tea as we finished our meal – hot and just the right amount of sweetness. The prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back!!! Great experience.

The food was my favorite part of my dining experience. So tasty! I shared the Korma, samosa, and vindaloo with a friend. We both preferred the chicken korma, but both were delicious.
The waitress warned that the chicken korma had chicken bones in it, which was fine. The vindaloo also had bones in it, so it was odd she didn’t warn about that one as well. They both tasted amazing, but felt skimpy on chicken. The samosas were okay; much better with the green sauce (I’ve forgotten the exact name). Without the sauce there wasn’t much flavor to them.
I loved the dishes used to serve the food, however, the odd mixture of plastic and paper serving dishes tainted the overall vibe. The samosas were served in a concession stand style paper basket, and the sauce was served in a to go ramekin. Our friends fried rice, which was split, was served in a plastic to go container while the curry and rice we ordered was served in these beautiful and unique serving dishes. The mix was weird.
Water was served at room temperature and in bottles at the table; I would’ve preferred chilled water at the very least.
We dined with two other friends, who received their fried rice about 15 minutes after the curries and samosas were served. They sat and watched us eat since we had a hot food item. I didn’t like that at all. The service overall was rather slow; we had to go up to the waitress to request the check after we were very obviously done eating.
The bathroom smelled awful. There is a sign requesting to keep the door closed, and I’m sure it’s to keep the smell of sewage from wafting into the restaurant. It didn’t smell like a temporary thing from someone dropping the kids off at the pool, it smelled like a plumbing issue. I’m glad I didn’t go to the restroom before eating as that may have spoiled my appetite.
I’ll definitely be returning for the food, likely just takeout next time.

Me and my family are not from Denton and we decided to come eat here and we are glad we did! We have had our fair share of Indian food from lots of places and this place did an amazing job! The food and staff were both amazing. I got the butter chicken which I would say is 8.5/10, my mom got the chicken korma 9/19, my dad got the biryani 8/10. Overall very good and yummy and I recommend 🙂

It was overall decent experience. I tried the Juicy Mandi, and their mandis are top-notch with flavorful, well-cooked rice. The Juicy Mandi is definitely a must-try. Considering it’s in a small city like Denton, I’d say it was a good and satisfying dining experience overall.
