Had a great dinner at this restaurant! The flavors were rich and authentic. My favorite was the lamb chop, so flavorful! I tried my friends’ dishes and everything tasted super fresh, like it was made to order. It took a bit longer, but it was worth the wait!

We went with friends last night. Great place for location and food. Service just superb. Prashant served us so well. He knows how to please you too. The team works hard. Lot of take away order being collected. So food must be good too. We loved the spices and taste of all items We ordered. Good honest restaurant that tries hard to please you. Keep up the good work .

Starters were amazingly good , great taste and presentation but the main courses were disappointing and at £14-15 each, very expensive. I ordered pork chop vindaloo but they came back and told me they had run out of pork chops so suggested lamb instead? I ended up with Lamb vindaloo which wasn’t anywhere near hot ( spicy) enough for me.
The Lamb curries my friends had were bland and the sauce was thick and stodgy. The prawn/ Mango curry was bright green and not very fruity.
We all left a large portion of our food.
Rice was good but it should be shouldn’t it?
Service was friendly but they seemed very busy and there were delays in ordering.
Lots of take aways going out the door made it a bit busy and it wasn’t very relaxing environment.
Sadly we were dissapointed with Namak. Guess we just expected such high standard and it didn’t achieve. Sorry.
Next time we will order a selection of starters only.

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food. Really friendly – even the chef was getting involved in chatting about the menu. There were some dishes on here I haven’t had anywhere else and it was all very tasty indeed.
Will definitely return to try even more of the menu and would recommend.

I love their cuisine. So fresh, tasty and fragrant!
Harris and the team have a great offering, and I highly recommend this place.
Their tandoori chicken and lamb starters are my go-to, along with their lamb shank and Korma curry.

My friends birthday earlier tonight we had booked a table for 10 upstairs and despite our inadequate skill and obvious drunken ineptitude to barely make up our minds on what to eat the great people there served exactly what we finally decided on. Plenty of beers, lager and wine flowed and all the food was served quicker than I expected it would be. fantastically tasty, delicious food enjoyed by everyone there. When it came to settling the bill despite us having a maths teacher with us I think mistakes were made on our part but we’d had such a great night it doesn’t matter one bit. You guys deserve every penny. I’m sure you put up with a lot worse than us. Hope to return and eat there again soon.

This is such a genuine Indian dining experience! The blend of spices was out of this world. My lamb chops were tandoori oven baked and simply delicious. Inside of the restaurant, the decor is a real joy and staff are really friendly. Dogs are welcome too. We will be back!

Since opening in 2022, Namak has won a host of awards, and that’s not a huge surprise when you find out Owner & Head Chef Harris previously co-owned Rock Salt and worked for Dishoom. Dishes are inspired by the many the regions of India, with familiar flavours alongside unique signature dishes. We tried a mixture, including:

Embarrassing confession time… I’d never eaten a biryani before my trip to Namak! I’m a creature of habit and usually always get a bhuna when I go for Indian. But if you’re going to try one, then of course it has to be when it comes with an edible lid that you have to cut open! What a spectacle (and it tasted great too)
