The service here is great. Came in to grab some late lunch with my family, and they were so nice. I ended up trying their main hu tieu nam vang dish(I think that’s what it was called) and it was SOO good, the soup wasn’t too salty and but very favorable. The hu tieu here compared to other places, felt like you don’t have to drink too much water because it wasn’t too salty. The waitress was also really knowledgeable about the menu, giving us recommendations and explaining questions about what things were. Additionally the food came out pretty quick, prepared in clean and nice bowls and metal water cups. The overall restaurant is also pretty nice and clean aswell. I would def come back an try some of their other options as they have ALOT OF options. def recommend giving it a try if you haven’t already They also accept CARD now.

The parking space was quite limited, and parking proved to be a challenge due to inconsiderate parking choices. Upon my arrival, the restaurant was quite busy, but I was fortunate enough to secure a table without delay. The food was absolutely amazing, although it was a little greasy. The staff were also very pleasant. It is recommended to bring cash, as only cash is accepted.

Hu Tieu has always been one of my comfort foods, and the version at Nam Vang Restaurant is a true classic. The noodles are perfectly chewy, the meat and shrimp are fresh, and the sauce ties everything together beautifully. We always order the dry noodles, along with Chinese donuts to dip into the side soup and a plate of xiu mai (Vietnamese meatballs) to round out the meal.

The restaurant itself has that familiar, nostalgic feel you expect from a traditional Vietnamese spot. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the service is very quick. I also love that they open early, which makes it perfect for satisfying morning cravings.

I used to come to this Nam Vang Restaurant many times many years ago. This Place have been around for many years! I usually order their special Cambodian Noodle, Hu Tieu Combo Dry white/yellow noodle, Nam Vang Combo, Vietnamese Noodle Soup, Pad Thai, and Grilled Pork, Shrimp Vermicelli Noodle Bowl.
Food come out hot, quickly, and usually good. They offers many other Cambodian, Chinese, and Vietnamese Entrees. I love the Xiu Mai Meatball soup, Flavorful Bone Ribs Broth, and their Pickled Veggies and Chilies here. ️
Great Beverages and Desserts options too!
They also have spacious Indoor and outdoor seatings available. The only downfall is that
this Nam Vang Restaurant accept Cash Only!!!

How many of you remember going to Ha Nam Ninh (SF) and ordering the infamous “#25 Dry”- Hủ Tiếu Nam Vang? Aka Cambodian inspired noodles. It was the only thing I ordered there! Loved pouring the black sauce and slowly mixing the noodles. I have not found a place yet that makes it the way they made it. Nam Vang in San Jose makes a really good version of it and I order the plump delicious meatball as a side. The crispy egg rolls is a must. Order the #1,dry here. Nice tent set up for patio dining. Reasonable prices. Quick and efficient service. Small parking lot parking.

This restaurant is well known for their dry noodles (Hu Tieu Kho). The soup they give you to start is pretty good. They give you a huge piece of meat compared to some restaurants where there is no meat.

I’m not a fan of the dry noodles. There is a faint soy sauce flavor to the dish. The egg noodles tasted very bland so I would just stick to the rice noodles. The portions are really small, however there is a decent amount of toppings (shrimp, ground pork, shrimp). I’ve had this dish every time I’ve come here and left unsatisfied every time. My family loves this place though, I don’t get it.

The service is friendly and parking is easy. If you don’t know where else to eat, this restaurant isn’t a bad choice. It just isn’t a good choice either.

I visited in May 2023 as a group of four. Bring cash!
My partner and I got the Dac Biet Hu Tieu Nam Vang (Special Cambodian Rice Noodle), Mi Do Bien (seafood noodle), and some kind of meatball. We got the noodles as dry mix noodles because our friend suggested it. We liked the dry mix noodles! Since we haven’t tried dry mix noodles before, we were surprised that the soup was on the side with a bone/meat. I think next time I would go for egg noodles.

Nam Vang is a Chinese Vietnamese restaurant with a wide selection of noodle, rice plate and appetizers.

The signature dish will definitely be the dry mix noodle.

Price wide, with 30 dollar per person you will be well feed.

Please note that cash only!

I found this on instagram and decided to give it a try. It opens early. We arrived around 11 am. and it is almost full. The restaurant is not that big. Inside is pretty roomy.
We got a seat right away and were asked what we wanted to order. Since it is our first time, we have no clue what to order except we heard the combination dry noodle is the most popular one. We ordered combination dry noodles with half rice noodles and half egg noodles. Next, we ordered a combination porridge and chinese doughnut. The meat for noodles and porridge are the same. We also order pork and shrimp roll. I like the porridge the best even though the noodle is the most popular one. The porridge has balance flavor. The combination dry noodle is also yummy, but I think it has too much dark soy sauce. It comes with bone soup. Soup is good and the meat is tender. If I guess it right they have fish sauce in the soup, but somehow it taste on the sweet side. The roll is good, and it comes with peanut sauce. It is good when mix with hoisin sauce. Hand pulled noodles look like a famous dish, too. Only combination dry noodles and hand pulled noodle dishes picture on the wall, so I assume those are popular ones.
Overall, it was a good experience. I wish they are more patience. I feel they just want you to sit , order right a way, finish your dishes, pay, and leave. It is cash only
