Each dish has distinct authentic flavors. Great service, especially compared to other Asian restaurants. Price is good.
I really like the menu listing vegetarian and gluten-free options. Will be back to try more as all the foods look good!

There are not enough good quality Vietnamese restaurants in the burbs so I really wanted to like Nam Phuong Bistro, but the food was honestly pretty disappointing. My husband and I have been to the Nam Phuong in South Philly countless times, so we were expecting a similar authenticity and boldness of flavors. Unfortunately, the food and drinks simply did not deliver. My rice vermicelli dish with mixed proteins was a bit bland and the proteins were all overcooked. The pork was tough, the chicken breast was dry, and one of the shrimps still had the vein on, in addition to being overcooked. I also ordered the salted lemonade, which had an overwhelming artificial lemon flavor, so it was definitely not made with fresh lemons. My husband also noted that his Vietnamese iced coffee was just okay. For nearly $5 a drink, these were not worth it. On the upside, the service was wonderful, so it wasn’t all bad. If Nam Phuong Bistro were to unapologetically replicate the same flavors as their South Philly location rather than muting it down for mass appeal, I think they would be much more successful.

I have been to this place many many times and I found my favorite stable: sweet and sour soup (either shrimp, chicken, or veggie) with rice/noodles. In my most recent meal, I was especially impressed with the pineapple in the soup – I can almost guarantee with you that you won’t find this juicy and sweet pineapple taste elsewhere! The new dessert on the menu – flan cake with either sugar or coffee + condense milk was also a hit! Their pork chop broken rice dish was alright, though I wish they actually included other toppings to add flavors to the protein and the rice. I am not a fan of the spring roll that much since the shrimps always tasted off to me.

Service was quick. Our server was friendly. The price was reasonable!

Delicious! We ordered the deluxe pho which came with bean sprouts, mint leaves, beef balls, beef tripe, noodles, scallions and a whole bunch more. The broth was flavorful on its own and even better with the ingredients. Excellent service as well, the whole order only took 15 minutes to prepare!

Nam Phuong Bistro has good Vietnamese food and great service. I ordered the Pho deluxe and it was good. The broth was nice and the noodles were cooked nicely. The meat in the dish was good too. The staff was really friendly and the attention to customers was fantastic. The decor in the restaurant was nice and charming. Good place to eat. I would definitely come here to eat again.

Enjoyed dinner here during a weeknight with some friends – we were seated immediately. The pho & dumplings we ordered were tasty. Prices also seemed very reasonable! Will visit again.

I made a reservation for 7 adults & 3 kids. The food was fine; the pho broth was flavorful. I had vermicelli with grilled chicken & pork; this was delicious. I also had the rainbow drink. They made it just right without it being too sweet. We had super crispy chicken wings & spring & summer rolls for appetizers. Yummm! The only complaint I heard from my friends was that the restaurant was a tad on the hot side on a hot & humid evening. The unisex bathroom was clean and the service were outstanding. I’d come again.

One of my favorite restaurant in this area.
I have been a loyal customer here for 2 years now, they never disappointed me.

The portion was noticeably smaller than usual on my last visit, but I guess it was just because I was hungry. I hope it won’t shrink next time.

Cool spot in the Ardmore area to snag some solid pho and spring rolls. Would definitely recommend people stop by if you’re hunting for vietnamese food nearby.
