The ambiance here is amazing, so is the staff and food. This is a must return for me. They have the largest selection of wines I’ve seen in a while. If you are a wine lover this place will feel like home. This is a golden ticket for first dates ⚘️⚘️.

I moved away a few years ago and decided to give this place another try when I came back. Unfortunately, the experience reminded me exactly why I stopped coming. This establishment has a serious problem with racism.
Please don’t be fooled by the fact that some of the waitstaff may be people of color. I can say with confidence that this place does not value Black customers, and they make that very clear. The food is actually good, but the atmosphere ruins everything. Every single time I’ve walked in, the energy has been uncomfortable, disrespectful, and outright hostile.
What makes it worse is that the attitude starts with the owner and trickles down to the staff. It’s shocking and disappointing to still deal with this in 2026.
I’m disgusted, and I will never return. This establishment will not see me again.

The atmosphere is very inviting. Low lighting and music set the mood for a relaxing yet lounge-ish vibe. You loose time when your there. Staff is the best, super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu selections. The owner Thuy will have you laughing with her all night. She’s very entertaining. Behind the bar you’ll find Deanna who is stunning and can help direct you toward the wine or cocktail you’re craving. It’s become the place to be. One of my favorite spots

I came in from Virginia to visit my family and found this wonderful place midday in Sandy Spring on Friday the 13. I sat at a very large and inviting bar seat for lunch even know the restaurant seating was beautiful. The (Vietnamese ) chef came out of the kitchen randomly and joined me in conversation as if we were long time friends! My server Blake and the chef were so incredibly professional and extremely nice to me , a perfect stranger! A rarity in today’s world. I asked the chef to pick his favorite meal for me and he prepared a wonderful Lemongrass Chicken dish that was absolutely incredible! Blake, my new friend and server helped in pairing a delicious white wine to compliment! The wine selections are off the chart here by the way ! My hour and a half in this very local , authentic , delicious and inviting place made my visit to Sandy Spring a memorable experience! It seldom gets any better!

I and my group were seated to have drinks as the kitchen was closed. I had never been and the atmosphere was great. Meet some great people at the bar while we waited to be sat. I tried twice to get the bartenders attention (I found out later she was the owner) but she would not even look at me. After we were seated the waiter (very nice young mam) came over and said “the owner said I could not serve you and she wants you to leave.” I said, “Why” He said, “She wouldn’t say why.” Totally offended (I have never been kicked out of any place) We walked over to the bar to see if she would let us know what we did wrong, but she ignored us. The people sitting at the bar (that we had talked to prior to being sat) was just as shocked when we told them. Come to find out one of the ladies with us noticed a guy she dated for 3 months prior sitting at the bar. Apparently the owner has a crush on him and didn’t want the lady with us in the restaurant so she kicked us all out. Talk about unprofessional and childish. As someone that has owned several business, that just blows my mind. So I can’t review the food but the attitude, childish, and unprofessional way she does business I guess I will never know.

We love supporting local and you can’t go wrong with Nam! The food and service is always 12/10! We love sitting at the bar with Deanna and Thuy as they are incredible at making drinks and have very extensive wine knowledge. If you haven’t checked Nam out yet I highly recommend!

Nam Kitchen is an absolute gem. The tofu was hands-down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly prepared and full of flavor. I loved the ambiance, the attention to detail throughout the space, and the drinks were excellent. Everything came together beautifully. I will definitely be back!

The establishment exudes an atmosphere of sophistication and elegance, complemented by an extensive selection of wines. However, the food menu may be somewhat perplexing, as it appears to encompass a fusion of various cuisines, including Japanese and Vietnamese, among others. Despite this, the culinary offerings are delectable and satisfying to the palate. In conclusion, this establishment presents itself as a suitable venue for formal dining experiences.

Absolutely love this place. it’s rustic and modern chic. with oriental flair galore. food was fantastic. the chicken pho ,chicken spring rolls were great. but the star of my lunch was the California roll (sushi). It’s the best one I’ve tasted yet. (ever)) Kasia was a wonderful host. So friendly and amazing. even bought out shots for us as well as having one. Cheers “to love ..friends .. family.. and new adventures.” everything was truly amazing and the restaurant curated by her grand mother. stunning and elegant. Absolutely one of my favorite finds in Sandy springs. I would recommend this place to anyone. the food and drinks cover a large variety. and everything was spectacular. Can’t wait to go back. Absolutely now in my favorite top 15 restaurants world wide. Kasia I can’t thank you enough and look forward to seeing you again..

Wonderful authentic Vietnamese restaurant right in the heart of Sandy Springs. They have a fairly extensive wine selection and the attention to details on cocktails and appetizers stand out.
I would recommend dinner at the bar for one or two qnd to get a least one or two apps to split before your main dish.
Thuy’s wings and spring rolls are easily my favorite (even if they aren’t featured) and it’s hard to go wrong with a specialty roll.
I would recommend the clay pot or vermicelli bowls for a main dish.
