I used to ordered from Nam King when they were on Yale many times and many years ago.The food is different now. It’s not great like it used to be. The rice is plain, no bean sprouts, no broccoli, not fresh at all The rice noodles, no taste. I just ordered my son and I rice, General Tso.. bite into it and Just plain dough and an extremely small piece of meat. I will not be doing business with them anymore. Going back to Sing Lay on Frayser Blvd, where I know the food is great!

I’ve eaten a various Nam King locations for many years. Since the number of dine in Chinese restaurants has declined, my craving for some egg rolls and something Spicy has been on the rise. We picked up 4 egg rolls, Kung Po Shrimp and some chicken fried rice. Both our main dishes were good and my Kung Po shrimp had a goodly amount of Pow to it which I liked. The egg rolls were a bit on the chewy side more than crisp. We were only 10 minutes from pick up to the table so I do t think it was a time issue. Still plenty hot at the table. I enjoyed the meal.

Their Google profile says they have vegan options, but when I called to ask what the vegan options were, I was told they didn’t have any… I thought maybe it was the language barrier as he sounded confused, so I messaged their Facebook page, hoping they could use a translator to assist me.
Instead, they sent me a picture of the vegetarian menu which is not the same as vegan. I tried to clarify if these vegetarian items did not have any dairy or egg products, and was referred back to the number I called to place an order…
I think it’s amazing when people can speak multiple languages so I definitely don’t mind the language barrier, I just wish they would have taken the initiative to use a translator over messenger in order to help a customer.

First time ever… that I had to wait for my order. Normally they are right on point with pickup times but they were a little behind.
Needless to say, this has never happened before and I visit them often. Great food, great service and they have spruced up the place!
I think all this is new but if not I probably need to slow down and smell the roses.

I hadn’t been in awhile but decided I wanted vegetable lo mein with 5 flat wings,the Lo mein was so greasy vegetables was cooked almost mushy, it was around 7:00 pm I will never order evenings again I think it was a different cook normally it’s good but this was horrible

Ordered Mongolian beef. Not only is the plate missing the scallions they replaced with chives. But I also got staples in my food. Told them I could come by & they wanted to give me an hour to replace my food. Told them I couldn’t make it that day. I have the receipt & food still. They refused to replace if it wasn’t within that time.
