Came here for the first time and am super impressed. The atmosphere is incredible and I thought it was decorated very fun. Food was also delicious. Got the sushi burrito, edamame, and fried rice.

Sushi burrito was huge. Basically a big sushi roll, kinda messy to eat but very good. Edamame was the bomb. The sauce was incredible and you get a huge portion, fried rice wasn’t bad. Got pork in it and kinda threw it off. The pork was more Hawaiian while rice was more Asian. Wasn’t bad but not my cup of tea.

Had live music as well which was a nice touch.

I really enjoyed the spot. It was a great place to socialize. We also got one of the drink buckets which was $50 but also really good. It says there’s a minimum of four people if you want to order it. They had live music and it was amazing. Great performance and I like how the space was used. They did make us go outside so they could close the door. That was not ideal, but I get it. Fire safety and all.

I wanted to like this place, but the food was not very good. The small details were overlooked making my meal more of a diner quality food. I ordered the loco. The gravy was just pedestrian and the amount of it was way too much. The burgers on the dish were burned. This dish could of been good, but the execution in the kitchen was lacking. The place overall was decent and the waiter was fine. Just because I had a bad meal, it may not be indicative of the restaurant overall as the other aspects were ok.

Nalu Dewey Beach absolutely nailed the Memorial Day Weekend vibes, delivering an unforgettable experience thanks to their fantastic 80s entertainment and top-notch service.

The decade 80 band was phenomenal, playing an incredible set of classic hits that had everyone on their feet and singing along. The music selection was spot-on, creating an energetic and genuinely fun atmosphere throughout the night.

Beyond the awesome tunes, the bar staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring drinks were flowing and everyone felt well-cared for. Speaking of drinks, they were excellent! The coconut rum old fashioned was a particular standout—a unique and delicious twist on a classic. Coupled with good drinks and great vibes, it made for a truly enjoyable night out.

And let’s not forget the food! The Nalu menu was a hit, especially their poke bowls and burgers, which were both fresh and flavorful. It’s clear Nalu Dewey Beach knows how to create a winning combination of great food, drinks, and entertainment. If you’re looking for good fun and a lively atmosphere, especially with some classic tunes, Nalu is the place to be!

Kendall was the best server we’ve had in a long time. She was SPOT on with her recommendation of the pork on the nachos! We split these and it was more than enough for a meal for two. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the extensive menu.

Nalu in Dewey Beach is a must-visit! This Hawaiian-themed restaurant delivers an amazing dining experience from start to finish. The food is absolutely delicious—whether you’re diving into their nachos, sushi tacos, or one of their mini burgers, you’re in for a treat. And the desserts? Simply mouthwatering.

The service is top-notch; the staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly dedicated to making every guest feel welcome. They’ve recently expanded with a new wing that includes a live music stage, extra seating, and a second bar area—perfect for a fun night out.

The owners clearly care about creating an unforgettable experience, and it shows in every detail. If you’re in Dewey Beach, make sure Nalu is on your list!

My husband and I enjoyed lovely dinner on their back deck. The food was delicious. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere very nice. Price was a little more than we expected for a virgin Daiquiri at $10 during “happy hour”. I enjoyed my first poke bowl.

Updated review. Had another great meal here with the family. Service and food is top notch. Happy hour mai tai, bacon wrapped pineapple, blackened tuna BLT wrap and the hula pie. Great dining experience.

This place gets BUSY, but there is a lot of space. Mia our waitress did a phenomenal job.

The menu offers a lot of different selections. I opted for a Poke Bowl and it was great. Adding spicy mayo was a must.

The Bacon Wrapped Pineapple app is so simple but it really is incredible. It was easily my favorite thing I had all night.

Can’t wait to come back.

Stayed at the Gold Leaf Hotel right across the street. Decided it was the perfect location for us. Getting in there was a line of about 4 families deep. We could hear the sweet sounds of a live singer coming from inside. The line moved pretty quickly for it being prime time and we took an indoor seat next to the windows as opposed to the patio which would have taken a little bit longer. The waitress was courteous and quick to get our drinks and apps in.

Pretty vast menu, everything from burgers and tacos to poke bowls, tapas and kids meals.

Here’s the core of this review; music was a bit too loud and hard to hear each other and the waitress, but for atmosphere it was great entertainment. Food was awesome for the adults (ahi tacos and pad tai) but only mediocre for the kids (fried chicken breasts and ceasar salad). Disclaimer: our kids are picky and would not know good food if they ate at a 5 star restaurant and would prefer fast food.. so take that for what its worth. Drinks were awesome, quick to come out and balanced mixes.

Clean for a beach haven and family friendly place. Had a great time with good food and friendly people. Its not a place to make a special trip for, but if you’re in town and need a place to grab a bite, defintely recommend it to you. ENJOY
