Great little hidden gem if u like sushi! I myself prefer sashimi with a bowl of brown rice on the side( better value for me). The pieces were good portions and extremely fresh! The owner Ron was very personable and engaging! Go here and you will not be disappointed!!!!

This is hands down the worst meal I’ve ever ordered in my entire life. $30 for noodles that are MUSH. There were like 3 solid noodles in the whole container and they were disgusting. THEN open my chicken teriyaki dish and there’s hair in it. Will never be ordering again entire meal was thrown out. Such a waste of food, money, and time.

My boyfriend and I go here often enough, and we both love the sushi here the best!! I got the crabmeat salad the last time we went and OMG it was amazing as usual. Everything on the menu is sooo good, and it’s really not expensive.

I was scared when I arrived because the restaurant was empty, but it smelled good when I walked in (and it was a Wednesday night). The food was excellent. Fresh, smelled great, and I had a very nice waiter. Thanks guys, I’ll be back!

Ah Nakayama. It’s super close to my house, it’s not obscenely expensive like some sushi places, and the food is awesome. My girlfriend and I get a sushi craving and come right to Nakayama. We have probably tried everything on the menu at least once. Love this cute little place.

I absolutely love this place. All you can eat sushi mon-thurs for $11.99 at lunch and $18.99 at dinner time and Friday-sunday that goes up to by $2 but it’s still worth it! This place is off Poole Ave in hazlet in an unassuming strip mall but don’t let it fool you. You get a paper menu and mark off what you’d like. Everything is made fresh, nothing has been sitting out at a buffet for who knows how long! Whatever number you mark next to your sushi order is how many roll/pieces you get. The soups, appetizers and a few of the Japanese style main courses (not sushi) aren’t served like that but instead come out in small portions.But make sure you only order what you can finish, anything not finished is charged at full cost. We have never had this happen to us but have gotten close so make sure to come hungry.

Some of the best sushi I have ever had!! The Excellent and valentine roll were so good as well as the cheese wonton and sushi pizza. Friendly service as well! Highly recommend!
