This restaurant was very nice – the furnishings, decorations, and even the restroom was modern but authentic. The customer service was also refreshing.

I placed a takeout order of the grilled lamb with seasoned rice, grilled guinea fowl with couscous, side orders of fried plantains, brown jollof rice and mixed vegetables.
OMG, everything was seasoned to perfection and so good;I was stuffed but still didn’t want to stop eating and the food fed me for three days!

Nailah’s Kitchen was amazing! My fiancé and I had a wonderful time. The owner has such a beautiful spirit, and the food was outstanding. Hands down the best jollof in the DMV area—we’ll definitely be returning soon!

This restaurant is amazing! The owner really understands great Senagalise cuisine and top notch service. Do NOT miss a chance to come visit and have a plate or two! You will leave full and satisfied, most likely planning a future return! Come by yourself or with your family, the atmosphere is very warm and welcome.

I ordered Jollof rice with chicken for the family, We got what was suppose to be a half of a very small chicken and maybe a cup of rice. The dish was $31 dollars .
I have referred many friends to this restaurant because of good experiences in the past.
This time our food was cold as well.

I was in town with my family doing a college tour and we looked up this place since we were hungry. Let me tell you this Senegalese place was the highlight of the day. We walked in and the owner greeted up and was the nicest man you could meet. We had a few questions and he patiently answered all of them. The food was OUTSTANDING. We had the Dibi chicken, Dibi lamb and the Mechoui. All were well seasoned and you had a choice of mild or spicy. We went with spicy with the chicken and mild with the rest. We also had the seasoned rice. Everything was great there wasn’t one wrong thing with the entire experience. This is truly a 10/10 place, if you get a chance to visit when you’re in the area don’t hesitate!

I chose this spot to go to after my graduation ceremony. Overall, my family and I had a great experience. Our server was very kind and attentive. The atmosphere was very aesthetically pleasing. The food was great, it was my first time trying Senegalese food and I was not disappointed! I tried a lamb dish and it was very tasty. The pineapple ginger drink was very good. I would highly recommend.

Food was superb! First time there, we went while looking for a good meal black owned and we were not disappointed! The owner greeted and sat us within minutes. Gave great recommendations and we ordered. I asked him if they could add butter to the broccoli, he told me it wouldn’t be needed they sauté it with oil and seasonings. Boy was that broccoli amazing! Cooked to perfection. I got a salmon platter and my date got a lamb chop platter. Before he even got to his lamb he was raving about just the side of rice and how amazing it was. The portion sizes were great, if I wasn’t so hungry I would’ve had leftovers but it was so good I finished my plate there. Also the decor was just beautiful. Atmosphere was like no other. Just go! Don’t think! Get in your car and go to Nailah’s Kitchen! ❤️

I tried this restaurant for the first time today and I 100% recommend. The food is delicious. I come from Senegal and I can attest that the food taste just like what I know from the country. The decor is also so beautiful I had a flash back home as soon as I stepped through the door. Friendly environment and good food.

Pretty disappointed overall. Service was good. The exterior and interior of the restaurant is stunning! Love the decor. I got the lamb foreshank with white rice but I’m pretty certain it was goat meat. I did not like that at all and it didn’t taste good.
The white rice was really good, so was the fataya and egg rolls. I would recommend their sides and their appetizers completely. Definitely pricey for what you get ; $30 for one side. $5 drinks. And no sodas! I would not visit again. I went with a group and felt like the food overall was just meh. A member of my group got the tilapia at a previous visit and it was dry. The sauces they do offer are good I will say. And I did like the hibiscus drink.
