The food is terrible! The okra soup was tasteless, no flavour at all. The pounded yam smells bad like it was made a day or 2 prior.

Ordered on uber eats and it was the absolute worst snd waste of calories. I don’t usually do bad reviews but does the amount of money spent for the quality of food you get is frustrating. The white rice was hard and the stew was like boiled tomatoes. The coconut rice was the same, hard and tasted bad. The meat was not stewed properly. Felt like they just got it out of the fridge and dipped it in the tomato stew. The inside of the meat had no stew. The banga was equally tasteless. I hate wasting food and none will eat it. So disappointed.

Absolutely disappointing experience.

I went in today and was charged $20 for a small container (about 12–13 ounces) of soup with no meat. That’s absurd. The owner even doubled down, saying he gave me “an extra ounce of soup” — as if that makes it okay.

What makes it worse is that just last week, I was there and got fried rice, two meats, and stew for $25. How does soup alone now cost almost the same?

I understand that running a Nigerian restaurant in the U.S. isn’t easy and costs have gone up, but this pricing is just wild and unfair. The service was poor, and the justification made it worse. I genuinely can’t recommend this place after this experience.

Well, first, I will say the food was decent. Unfortunately, the inside was dark, with no paper towels in restrooms. The server was nice but didn’t really engage with first-timers with the new food experience from another country. Not sure what I expected, but it wasn’t bad.

I can say that this is the most authentic Nigerian restaurant in Atlanta. I was pleasantly surprised as this was my first time here and I had the egusi with beef and pounded yam, and took home rice and stew for my wife. It reminded me of my mom’s home cooking as it was very tasty and spiced just right.

The food was freshly cooked for me and not scooped out of some old batch of food.

The restaurant was very clean and the gentleman who served me was very courteous and cared about my satisfaction so, we will be going back very often.

Was my first time here and dropped by to pick up dinner based on recommendations that they are pretty good or used to be good, the food i got was super salty , looked and tasted like everything was heated up in a microwave last minute and just thrown in a plate, the pie was the only thing that was fair but was heated up so bad by the time it cooled down tasted like dry old pastry, might have been a one time thing but got a couple plates of different things and they all ended up being trashed

The food was sooo oily, it upset my stomach. The fish was tough ‍♀️. I literally had to pull it off the bone with my fingers to eat it.

Highly disappointed. The egusi soup was not good at all, had NO flavor and they put beef w/ stew on top of it making the soup sweet. Not sure why they would do that. I wish I would have read some of these reviews before I ordered. I wasted my money. Also, the portion was small.

I found this spot randomly and it was a pleasant surprise , I came back again soon after. I think it’s better when I get it in person versus delivery but that might just be the one time. Jollof rice and the meats are very good
