Their food is great overall. We ordered a couple of things for a snack and were happy with it. One thing that turned me off was the price of their fried buttterfly shrimp appetizer which was around 8 bucks for 5 tiny shrimp. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Tried the hibachi chicken. It wasnt even edible. The chicken was like rubber, couldn’t even chew it. They were very accommodating and took 50% off our bill, but this wasnt the first time it happened to us there.

The food here is delicious and fresh. The setvice is extremely attentive, friendly, and gracious at explaining what’s in some of the food. I can’t wait to go back for a third time when I’m home from college.

Had a great lunch yesterday at Nagoya. I hadn’t heard about this restaurant before yesterday despite living in the area for ever… we all had hibachi lunch specials and they were fantastic. I had the steak which included fried rice and vegetables. You get a nice portion for lunch time and it wasn’t very expensive. You also get your choice of a soup or salad. I’ll definitely go back.

I enjoy this restaurant for lunch. I got the shrimp hibachi lunch special with salad and noodles, not rice. The salad was cold and crisp, with ginger dressing. The entree came out very quickly. It was delicious and I needed to take some home. Went to cashier to request the check. Glad that I asked for a bag for the box. Sauce leaked out of the box and could have made a mess. Lunch, tax and tip came to $19.00.

Food was good. I just wasn’t impressed at the price of $28 for a hibachi dinner of 7 pieces of steak and 4 pieces of shrimp.

All around just eh. Sushi was so bland and the service was like communicating with zombies. Not an ounce of personality.

The food is usually fresh, but the salad and miso soup are not as good as they used to be. We had the platter and the beef negamki. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Nagoya has been good in the past for us, but we got dinner last night and it was terrible. Walking into the restaurant there was an overwhelming smell of bleach in the entry… which I guess at least theoretically means something was clean. It was enough to make me feel sick from the smell though. After getting our food the chicken was flavorless and tough to the point of being inedible. My scallops were poor quality and drenched in what tasted like watered down soy sauce. So much so that it actually took away from any flavor the overcooked veggies and scallops might’ve had. My wife brought her steak home and added her own sauce and warmed it up in the stove since they failed to make it teriyaki steak. Might’ve just been an off day, but if I’m spending $80 for a meal the restaurant can’t have worse seafood than a Long John Silvers… even in their worst day.
