Always awesome food for a fair price. I love their sushi rolls—the Pretty Woman roll is a standout with its fresh flavors and perfect presentation. The fried dumplings are the ultimate appetizer, always crispy and savory. My wife’s go-to is their noodle dishes, which are consistently flavorful and served in generous portions.
It’s a great little Asian gem in Ottawa, and we’re lucky to have such high-quality Japanese cuisine in our community. The atmosphere is cozy, making it perfect for a quiet date night or a quick lunch. Just a heads up: they do close for a few hours in the afternoon between lunch and dinner service, so be sure to check their hours if you’re planning a late-day meal!”

The food wasn’t very good. The fried rice was very dry and the sushi made my stomach hurt and I wanted to vomit. My friends said the same thing except they liked the miso soup. Definitely not worth the $90 we paid. The server was very nice. Probably won’t come again considering we are just passing through.

The staff were pretty nice. But even on a busy Saturday night, they are more concerned with getting off early for personal reasons. We went in plenty of time before they closed. But we did watch them try to discourage customers coming in at around 9:15 because they close at 10. They told the people that they’d have to already know what they want to order & be able to be out within 15 minutes. To my surprise, the people were fine with that & said they’d be out of their within that time frame. (We left prior, so not sure how that ended up?) Right after our food was served the staff started to clean up all around us while we were trying to eat. Cute place, but the atmosphere wasn’t the best because everyone seemed to feel rushed to get out of there. I understand to some degree. But when we were there way before closing, we shouldn’t have had to feel so rushed. I ordered the udon noodles with chicken. I’m not sure if the chef thought we were sharing our meals, but I didn’t get any chicken with my noodles. Just a few veggies. My girlfriend ordered teriyaki chicken. It came with LOTS of chicken & a few random shrimp as well?? She thought it was ok. And my noodles were also ok. But I didn’t like that it was basically just some noodles. Overall, not a very good experience. But, I do see all of the glowing reviews, so I will probably try it again at a later date.

For spending $90 on three meals it was not worth it. The atmosphere was nice and the servers were kind, but the food tasted okay at best and inedible at worst. We didn’t order anything out of the ordinary from what we order at most restaurants and we didn’t even bring home most of the food. The roll I got was not only missing half the ingredients listed on the menu from it but also tasted bad enough I couldn’t finish it, and I made sure to get something similar to what i get at all places. My friend got a rainbow roll (something she usually gets at most sushi places) and it immediately made her stomach hurt and she couldn’t even make it through the first piece. The fried rice was bland and there was practically only cream cheese in the crab rangoons, and the tea just tasted like hot water. We stopped here because of the good reviews while we were on the road, and I have to say this is one of the worst sushi places I’ve been to. The only saving grace is the service, but the food ruined it for us.

Oh man, the food from Nagoya was a total winner! We got the pretty women, super yummy, sweet potato, tootsit roll, and garlic edamame for take-out. Let me tell you, it was bomb! The flavors were on point, and everything tasted so good. You gotta try it! Yum all the way! ️

Surprisingly good! Not sure who comes to the middle of land locked America expecting good sushi, and I don’t know how they manage it, but this is good sushi!

The good: the sushi itself is spectacular tasting. Prices are reasonable, if not exactly cheap. Staff is very nice. There was little to no wait at prime time on a week night, although it was full when we arrived.

The meh: sushi may not be entirely accurate to what you’re used to elsewhere. Tuna maki has seaweed around the rice. Spicy tuna has breading with the tuna and then seaweed then rice (??). Not saying it doesn’t taste amazing, it does, but I hope you are not a stickler about your sushi.

The bad: appeared slightly understaffed

Went here on my lunch with a companion. First time in. It was a pleasantly calm atmosphere with an easy charm to the decor. The waitress we had was attentive and quick to address what we may need.
I ordered the tempura vegetables as an appetizer, my companion ordered crab rangoons. Both came out beautifully crispy and delicious.
I had decided on the lunch chicken and steak hibachi. It came out perfectly cooked and well portioned. Definitely something I’d happily get again.
Overall a great experience and a place I’m adding to my preferred dining spots in Ottawa.

I liked the Fried Rice. But , didn’t like having my debit card info stolen by the driver thru employee (female). We were visiting the restaurant once a week.
Luckily my bank protected my account. I’ve made sure to tell everyone I know what happened.
