The food here was really good with a unique taste. We had the shrimp fried rice, three musketeers roll, seared tuna?, and snow crab salad. This was probably the best snowcrab salad we’ve ever had. We were immediately served delicious clear soups when seated. The food hit the spot and this will definitely be our sushi spot when in the area.

I enjoy the fried rice dish here (from the kitchen, not the hibachi) because the portion size is generous and it comes with a lot of protein (beef, chicken, and shrimp). The sushi tasted fine but it was not particularly memorable. I have had hibachi here twice before and I was not impressed by the seasoning of the food. I think the presentation and the cooking were entertaining but the actual hibachi food itself just tasted like soy sauce to me. The yum yum sauce is good but I don’t like using sauce to cover up the flavor of the rice and the protein. I do think that hibachi is a fun when there is a celebration and families want to do something out of the norm but I personally prefer the food from the kitchen than from their hibachi grill.

A traditional hibachi restaurant – except for the portions. A to-go box is standard practice here. I couldn’t believe that everyone I saw leaving had one until I was served. I got about 2 1/2 filets with my filet meal, more rice than I could eat. So with that said, it’s a good value since you can get two meals out of it. I only got one refill during my meal so service could be better.

Have never been here but had a great time! Our chef was funny and the bartender knows how to make a great drink. Great portion sizes for the price…and enough to share. Definitely recommend the Nagoya for 2, the dumplings, and the Cajun roll. The only problem we had was our server was not very attentive and they had to redue our order. Other than that…it was a great time! Price varies on alcohol purchase.

My husband & I went for hibachi but it was closed so we decided to dine in & order hibachi from the kitchen as the hostess suggested , my husband ordered vegetable fried rice & he really really enjoyed it . The hibachi I ordered chicken it wasn’t good like it is from the hibachi bar itself. But overall the food was a 6/10. I ordered the fried veggies as an appetizer the batter was very very light but was ok I would rate those a 7/10. What wasn’t really ok was the service – our initial server was really nice the one who took our drink order, but then came another server to take our order she wasn’t very friendly , her personality was not fit to work with people , her demeanor was very harsh & her tone. In all honesty it was so discouraging we almost got up to leave. We used to order to go for lunch from here all the time when I had clinic in Hammond & the food was really good ; I guess not having to deal with waitresses during that time but I would give the food a plus .

The staff was friendly enough, however the host/waitress that greeted us was at the bar talking to a friend. We sat down and they took our drinks, but did not give us a menu. They delivered our drinks and seemed to have forgotten about us. Once they remembered they came by, and realized they forgot the menus.
We ordered the tuna tataki. It was okay, but definitely not the best I’ve ever had. The garnishes tasted like it was pickled and store bought, and the tuna itself didn’t taste fresh. The dish was very heavy on vinegar taste.
We also ordered the angel roll, Hawaiian roll, and valentine roll. These exceeded our expectations and were amazing! Definitely will reorder.
The bathrooms had a very strong and unpleasant smell that reminded me of wet dog and cigarettes. It was so strong I could smell it as I approached the designated area, and when I walked in it was very overwhelming.
While the service and environment could use some work, the staff was friendly and sincere, and the sushi was AMAZING. I think we will return for takeout in the future.

Hibachi steak was one of the toughest steak I think I’ve ever eaten. I’ve gotten it before and it was great. But this time was a different story. When I told the cook I couldn’t even chew it , he said he’s just the cook and doesn’t buy the food. I’ll be back because the sushi is great but don’t get the hibachi steak unless you like chewing flavorless shoe leather.

Our chef was entertaining and the food was good. It was very warm in the restaurant, but understandable due to all the grills. Our waitress wasn’t very friendly and seemed bothered when we asked for our drinks to be refilled. Overall, I will go back because the food was really good.

The cook was fantastic. Had a bit of a problem with the wait staff though. Standing along the wall on their phones, vaping inside the food establishment around customers and not tending to customers unless we went to them. Since the service team was not good in many ways, we made sure the cook got the full tip.
