We ordered these two rice bowls, but they were extremely salty. When I spoke to the staff about it, they said they couldn’t do anything because it’s “Canadian style,” and suggested that I could pay extra to add more rice to reduce the saltiness.
It’s ridiculous that I would have to pay for additional rice when there was already plenty of rice in the bowl. I also asked if I could switch to a different dish, but they refused. They did charge service fee. What an awful experience.

We are visiting from Oliver, BC, and this sushi restaurant completely blew us away ✨ The food was absolutely incredible. So fresh, so flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish we ordered was amazing
The service was just as incredible as the food. The staff were so polite, friendly, and welcoming, and they were especially wonderful with my kids Very patient, kind, and accommodating, which made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable.
You can really tell they care about what they do, from the quality of the food to the way they treat their guests. One of the best sushi experiences we’ve had. We would absolutely come back anytime we’re in Golden Highly recommend

We stopped in Golden on the 26th for a day of skiing, and since most restaurants were closed for the holidays, this spot was a great find. Service was incredibly fast and friendly. We ordered a mix of sushi and a teriyaki chicken bowl—everything was delicious. The fish was very fresh, and my husband loved his teriyaki chicken. There are only a few tables and you order at the counter, which was perfect for us since we didn’t want to wait. Absolutely recommend this place.

Best Japanese food I’ve had in this side of BC… and maybe in general. Sweet, quiet atmosphere. Open, quiet, clean kitchen. Cosy, small, wooden tables. I don’t know who their distributor is, but the sashimi and fresh fish dishes were SO fresh and good no words can describe my happiness after consuming their food.

This place is a great spot for a quick bite! I ordered the teriyaki beef rice bowl, and while it wasn’t my first choice, I was pleasantly surprised when I took a bite. The flavours were delicious, and the portion size was just right. I was actually hoping to try the sushi, but the menu didn’t really appeal to me, especially considering the price. However, the teriyaki beef bowl was so good, and the miso soup was perfectly flavoured as well. I would definitely recommend this place!

This place was a decent Japanese restaurant. They provided a good amount of options like rice bowls, sushi, soup, etc. They also gave Thr top ones of specific sections to see what dish was liked the most. Overall, it was a good place but it wasn’t very ‘special’ or different from a Japanese sushi restaurant. Overall a good place though.

The portion sizes are generous and the quality is great (especially the sashimis)! I love the box sushi and the rolls (the one with mangos and sashimi is my favourite). Order the dinner four course menu with tuna tartar and beef. It’s all awesome 🙂
