The service here is excellent! I had the lasagna and also tried my husband’s rigatoni—both were good. Our bread arrived a little late, but the floor manager was very kind and offered us a tiramisu as a courtesy. The tiramisu was delicious. This is our second visit, and we really appreciate how consistent their service is.

How to begin … well we walked into the restaurant around 4:30 pm, one table occupied and rest of the tables were empty, to have something to eat. The guy said sorry no chance we are fully booked. We said just a short bite and we are gone, less than an hour. Response, no chance, we are booked. Since I don’t beg to be served, I said to my family, let’s go. Now our youngster in the family went, while standing beside the guy, made a reservation online for 4:45 pm at this place. Showed the confirmation to him, and we got seated. When we left after an hour and a half the place was still 3/4 empty. So not sure if the guy doesn’t want to have guests or just no walk-in’s .
Now, since we got a table, back to the food. We had a spinach salad as starter with feta, was good, and fine. Asked for some bread, this costs extra, we don’t serve bread on the side, paid for it.
Main dish pasta with pesto, was ok. The pizza margarita we ordered with additional tomato’s, hmm, would say ok.
Overall experience, won’t be back! if you don’t get to be served as a walk in, just don’t go online and get a table, rather go somewhere else.

Customer service and Italian cuisine at its finest. The staff was incredibly hospitable and took such great care of us!! The food was phenomenal!! The lasagna was a chef’s special item and tasted like what my Italian grandmother would’ve made for us. Not from the area, but definitely know we will be back for more.

What a local gem – outstanding food and drinks plus attentive and caring staff. The burrata, gnocchi and lobster ravioli were all top notch. The homemade bread is also excellent. The entire staff goes out of their way for special occasions. Worth a visit.

Initially, the host refused to seat us although the restaurant was completely empty…. I booked on OpenTable for a reservation after 15 mins and was seated. Staff were snappy and not very welcoming. Food was below average – pizza dough was not great and the pasta was bland.

We have fallen in love with Nado Republic. Amazing food, lovely ownership and staff, they have welcomed us into their family. The authenticity of their Italian cuisine is second to none. When we’re not in Coronado we are talking about how we cannot wait to get back to enjoy another delicious meal and fun evening. A must for all.

We booked a reservation for 4 on a weeknight with no trouble. We were greeted and served by Luciano (I believe?) and he went out of his way to make our experience excellent. We enjoyed the specials (delicious lasagna and filet with risotto) and they easily accommodated our gluten free guest with gluten free pasta. We were visiting Coronado but we will definitely return to Nado the next time we are in the area.

Such a lovely experience! Luciano was our server and he was so professional and advised us well on the menu and even included tasters before my friend made her selection for wine! He also concocted an absolutely perfect drink (if he tells you what the recipe is you’re probably special) we had the filet mignon and risotto and it was amazing! Risotto was perfectly al dente and the filet mignon was cooked exactly how we asked. Will definitely return here for the atmosphere, food and great staff!
