Travelled here today, have been here in 2010 before and the place is the same. We had the tavern cheese burger with home made chips. The place is cool and rustic with old tools and stuff all over the walls. Service is good, Rachel is a nice bartender. Server was nice and friendly. Burger was a little underdone. Table was sticky. Fun place to experience. Pool tables on one side of the place. Dog friendly. Food is overly expensive, and you don’t get much.

Food was fine but incredibly overpriced, even considering the rural location. They also don’t let you upgrade to fries and serve every entree with a small serving of mediocre potato chips. If you want fries it’s gonna be $8 for a separate side. There was a very friendly cat though.

Finally stopped here on Christmas Eve and in January after driving by going up and down from Crystal the last couple of years. Service was great and so was the food. Cozy atmosphere, will definitely be coming back.

Cute tavern, the decor was cozy. But the lady working there was rude as we walked in. Probably should have left at that point.

There were flies all around the restaurant, which makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen.

The food itself was pretty good. Burger was tasty and the fries were good. However, it was quite pricey for a burger at $17.

The huckleberry lemonade was delicious!
I got their fish and chips. The chips was my favorite part. The fish was good too. Stopped by after discing down crystal mountain. Very rustic environment. It was fun looking at everything on the walls. There were a lot of fruit flies where we were sitting, only down part of the visit. Overall Everyone was satisfied after.

Great Local Bar. They get busy but they are friendly and the food is good and the atmosphere is great. They have outdoor area as well. Nachos are huge and can be shared with 3 people easily. They are always willing to support the local charities.

I love stopping in any whenever I am in the area.

Great palce to have a quick drink, bar bite, or dinner. The staff is friendly and and helpful. The food is good and have a good value. The vibe has a good homey feeling. The customers are a mix of locals and travelers passing through. Thier chicken wings are worth trying.

I’m a fan of dive bars/taverns. The food was good, service was even better. We recently moved to enumclaw so it’s nice to find a watering hole nearby. Loved the vibes, very chill and they have a great fireplace to sit in front of.
Someone mentioned the prices and honestly I think it’s unfair to complain about. It’s expensive EVERYWHERE. The fact that it is rural means that it’s probably more work to get those items to the location.

This is just my 2 cents.

Stopped here on the way to Crystal Mountain and was pleasantly surprised by the food. The fries were the highlight—crispy, well-seasoned, and served with two dipping sauces (the ranch was a perfect match, though I wasn’t quite sure what to make of the second, which tasted a bit like a homemade thousand island). Portions were generous, and everything came out hot and fresh.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and quick to assist, which really added to the experience. Seating outdoors is spacious.

That said, you’ll want to overlook some quirks of the setting—like the very old booth seating that seems more decorative than functional, and the fact that the space is shared with the occasional dog passing through. It’s definitely a roadside stop with its own character rather than a polished sit-down restaurant.

All in all, a convenient and tasty stop if you’re on the way up the mountain and craving something satisfying.

Very unique, fun, campy-vibe . Didn’t get too much when we stopped in but what we did have was exceptional. We will come back if opportunity arises.
