So I’m slightly obsessed with Trattorias. I love the small, home cooked by Nonna feel. The place that makes you feel like Sunday dinner with your family. Although this place is slightly larger, it does give a quaint vibe. I would love the ambiance and decor to be a bit more nostalgic. The bathrooms were immaculate. Our server was very sweet and attentive. We didn’t have to wait on anything. As for the food… the soup was delicious. If you like old school casear salad with anchovy oil and lemon, you will love it. If not, get the house salad. The chicken was cooked to perfection. It had a ton of flavor and the portion was large. You could tell the pasta was homemade. The red pepper sauce on the pasta was delicious. Literally, one of best I’ve had. We did have a problem with the meal, but the owner was very quick to come over and make it right. He took his time giving us the story of the restaurant and I appreciate that. The cannoli was out of this world, definitely made with love. We will be back for sure. The only suggestions I would love to see is fresh parmigiana at the table and seasonal sangrias. They did have a large party room and people were raving about the pizza!! Now go try them!!

The Amazing: Our server, Wanda was very nice and stayed on top of refilling my water all evening.
The good: I really like the atmosphere here, it’s bright and busy but we could still hold a conversation without it being very noisy.
The bad: We came in after Valentine’s Day for the weekend Valentine’s Day special. According to Facebook, the special was supposed to include an entree choice of a center cut filet mignon, scallop risotto or chicken Parmesan. The Facebook menu and the menu inside when we first arrived both indicated the filet mignon was available. When we went to order, we were told that they were out of filet and had been out since the day before so the dish had been changed to “filet tips” with risotto. We were each supposed to get a salad, I ordered both the Caesar and the house salad, we were brought 2 house salads instead. Additionally, the salad was supposed to come before our entree and instead was brought to us in the middle of eating our entree. The portions are huge and for the money, it is worth it but it was Valentine’s weekend and the kitchen was woefully unprepared to keep up with demand. The strawberry Tiramisu was delicious, but not labeled correctly in terms of ingredients on the menu. The strawberry Tiramisu did not have strawberry preserves in it (perfectly fine by me but it shouldn’t be presented on the menu with ingredients it doesn’t have) it just had fresh, sliced strawberries (A really interesting change to the flavor and one I enjoyed) Chicken Parmesan was delicious and the portion size is so big it’s like 4 meals!

This place is my new favorite! The ambiance, the rustic Italy decor, lots of seating, a bar and huge wood fire oven! Place gets busy around 7pm on high traffic Friday or Saturday. Everything was perfect temp, taste, presentation. I would say only thing that was one off was our meals came out 11 mins apart. Spouse didnt want to eat because took me there for my birthday and his food came out 11 mins before mine. I made him eat because veal gets cold quickly. He was done by time mine came but he did try mine and he loved the traditional pizza! Calamari app was amazing. The desserts my goodness were so good! I think our go to would be definitely cannoli and titanium. Reservations highly recommended if weekend. The prices were reasonable and food was quality food taste and portions! This isnt a corp chain this is a local mom and pop style Italian restaurant. Lots of groups out celebrating life events. Definitely will be back. Danielle did a superb job serving us and they did tell us one of the entrees was taking a while longer and they brought out the veal dish for spouse. I dont do veal but I did try the pasta and artichokes in it and they tasted amazing! Also posted our check because was blown away how reasonable it was! Took the grandma to Olive Garden last year for her birthday and 4 of us. No apps, 4 meals and desserts was 147 before tips! So this place is reasonable, fair and totally worth the experience!

I truly couldn’t have had a better experience working with owner Massimo. I was planning my Moms 70th surprise birthday at Nabruzzi. Massimo couldn’t have been any more accommodating. He was so easy to work with right from the start. He was accommodating when it came to us reserving that back room, choosing a select menu. He even helped me set up the tables and allowed me to arrive earlier just so I could set up. His staff during the event were so extremely helpful. They were very organized and handled the event in a timely matter. They never rushed up to leave, their main priority was to make sure we were having fun. He was so beyond helpful from the start. He helped make my mom’s surprise party a successfull one. Even his wife was very accommodating when it came to making our selected menu. I highly highly recommend having a special event hosted at Nabruzzi. They were all exceptional to deal with from the start. Very affordable and extremely accommodating. The owner is a great business man and him and his wife are the team duo! This restaurant had some top tier authentic Italian food for an affordable price! Consider hosting your next special event here. Both him and his staff are all incredible to work with and I couldn’t thank them enough. My mom has a wonderful surprise birthday at Nabruzzi!! Thank you, Christina E

My wife and I used to come here all the time and it was amazing food and service. We went last night, 1/16/26, and since ownership has changed this restaurant has completely fallen apart. We arrive about 5:30pm and was seated promptly since there was no one in the restaurant, however they said they will not accept their gift cards. Something with a system issues they’re trying to fix. We sat down anyway and it took 15 minutes for the server to even come to the table, an additional 15 minutes to get a glass of wine, an additional 10 minutes to get burnt bread. We asked the server what the specials were and she just stumbled and honestly had no idea, i proceeded to ask her where’s the brushetta we order when you can over the first time, her response was “we dont have brushetta” I responded its right here on your menu and she wanted to argue with me that they have never has brushetta. We decided to leave and didnt even order dinner. We will never return here and I highly suggest to anyone else you stay away as well. This restaurant was so good and the owners were great. New ownership has completely run it into the ground, I hope they make the right decision and close the doors and never own another restaurant again!

Nabruzzi Trattoria in Lutz is a true gem. It’s a family-owned restaurant with such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The new owner, Joe, is amazing—so attentive and genuinely made us feel special from the moment we arrived. Our waitress, Everly, was fantastic: friendly, professional, and on top of everything. The food was delicious and authentically Italian, and it’s clear a lot of care goes into every dish. There’s plenty of parking, reservations are easy to make, and the overall experience was wonderful. My Aunt Peggy, who lives nearby, will definitely be back!

I ordered the viltello saltimbocca allá romano, the veal was pretty good with a combination of flavors including spinach, noodles, prosciutto and other ingredients. My partner ordered the pollo Florentine which was good too. The pizza was the best, cook to perfection. The server was nice and the place is nicely decorated.

I made a last-minute reservation at Nabruzzi Trattoria for Mother’s Day and was fortunate enough to get a table. The restaurant is about a 45-minute drive from our home, and I found parking in the restaurant complex.
Upon entering, we were impressed by the warm and inviting ambiance. We were seated quickly and greeted by our server, Eduardo, who was friendly and attentive throughout our visit.
Our goal was to enjoy authentic wood-fired pizza, and from the various options available, we chose the Pesto Pizza. For appetizers, we ordered the Mozzarella Caprese, and for the main course, we ordered Aragosta Ravioli, accompanied by a chicken soup.
The Pesto Pizza arrived first and was the highlight of our meal crisp crust, fresh ingredients, and bursting with flavor. I would highly recommend trying their wood-fired pizza.
The Mozzarella Caprese was fresh and flavorful — a great start to our lunch. The Aragosta Ravioli was also delicious, well-made, and full of rich, satisfying flavors.
Overall, the food was fantastic, the atmosphere was cheerful, and the service, especially from Eduardo, was exceptional.
