Driving from Naperville to Devon at Sehri time to celebrate my son’s birthday was already special but the experience at Naan On Devon made it unforgettable.
After almost a year since my last Ramadan visit to Devon, we randomly chose this place and what a brilliant decision it turned out to be. From the outside, it looks like a simple, modest restaurant. But the quality of the Sehri buffet speaks at a completely different level. The food was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Every item reflected care and authenticity.
What truly differentiates this place, however, is the hospitality. The gentleman managing the restaurant (who I believe is the owner) embodies the true spirit of service leadership. Warm, attentive, and genuinely respectful he makes you feel valued, not just served. He doesn’t just follow the saying “customer is king” he lives it.
In a market full of options on Devon, this place stands out not because of luxury decor, but because of quality, sincerity, and heart.

Not only was the food AMAZING, but Rizwan who waited on us was so kind and hospitable. You could tell he really enjoys sharing his love for Indian cuisine with people. He also made this really interesting dessert called kaddu kherr that was unique and full of flavor. I had 5 servings of it haha.
I had the buffet that is offered on Fridays and it was a great way to try a little bit of everything. My wife is a vegetarian and had the mirchi ka salan with garlic naan and loved it. This place is an absolute must try!

The food was amazing! Best butter chicken I have ever had. Paneer with a bit of heat, but not overpowering. Perfectly seasoned meats. Atmosphere is basic but lets the food shine. Very attentive service.

Masha Allah had Goat dum biryani, tala huwa ghosht, khatti daal, plain rice, goat paya, roti, naan and paan. Alhamdulillah all food items were very tasty especially the biryani. Masha Allah Goat dum biryani is almost close to authentic Hyderabadi shaadi ki biryani. Not miss biryani. It’s one of the finest biryani in USA. Must try biryani here. Jazaakh Allah Khair to staff who served us.

We tried the Chicken Biryani and it was very delicious. The Chicken 65 was super yummy and the chai was too good. The food has an authentic taste of Hyderabadi cuisine. The service was also very good.
