Reviews
We dropped in on our way home from the family cabin on recommendation of another family member and we were not disappointed.
In all, we ordered Tandoori Chicken, Palak Paneer, Garlic Naan, extra Basmati Rice and a Mango Lassi. Everything was just fantastic.
The Tandoori was juicy, well spiced and super flavorful with the perfect heat. The Palak Paneer (my absolute fave dish and what I judge ALL Indian restaurants by) was hands down some of the best, if not the very best I have ever eaten.
To top it all off, the prices were super reasonable. Where can you sit down for authentic food of any type, order whatever you want without even looking at prices, including a fun drink, and extras and come out at right about $40?!
We were driving from Portland to Bend when we stumbled across the best Pakistani (/ Indian) food either of us had had in ages. This isn’t simply Curry on the menu- (which is why I included a picture of the menu). If you’re looking for Biryani, Masala, Paneer, Vidaloo, and Naan… check this place out. The service was fabulous and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. It may need to be a staple stop!
We have never been here before, and brought our kids with us who were really, really hungry. Service is EXTREMELY slow. There seems to be only one man serving the restaurant. He’s friendly, but it took over an hour for our kids to get their food. My husband and I’s main meal took an hour and a half. We were all tired and hungry and weren’t expecting to spend over two hours here (most of it just waiting).
Prices on the mountain are creeping up. Most entrees are around $20 and come with rice,
We had Sagg Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Plain Naan and Mango Lassi drink. The curries are served with rice by default.
Food was great, service top notch. (on a fairly quiet evening)
A slight criticism would be would be that the naan bread was too crispy and not doughy enough. This of course is extra picky so don’t let it stop you visiting and enjoying.
Everything tasted authentic, fresh, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of food where you keep saying “wow” after every bite and don’t want the meal to end. The only downside was that one person in our group didn’t receive their food until after some of us had finished eating, but it wasn’t a big issue since there was plenty to share and we were eating family-style. Overall, an incredible meal and a place I would absolutely recommend to anyone who loves great Indian food
They have the most wonderful selection of food, the vegetation dishes I loved as well as the chicken! They season everything so perfectly to be quite honest.
The owner and staff are genuinely super good people.
I don’t live here but I would surely love to have some reassurance that they are here to stay.
Please spread the word about this place wherever you can, let’s promote this establishment, as deserved and see if we can boost their stability within the community.
This should be important to both the locals and travelers.
If you haven’t been there yet, make sure that you do and pass the good word on to others.
Thanks everyone!
