Doesnt even worth for free to have food here
I spoke to the only person present there and said, my chicken was uncooked to which the replied, “You want it well done?” He then took my food and recooked it instead of serving me a new meal. To make matters worse, he proceeded to ask me what I was: “Are you Sri Lankan?” I politely said no. He came back with my dish, which he reheated in the chicken… only to find it still undercooked.
I’m saddened to say that I’m never going to this establishment again.
So:
Lamb biryani – extremely big portion of super spicy rice + 5 small pieces of meat which was really hard to find. Nobody asked us about level of spice while we ordered but I didn’t expect that fire. Had a feeling that rice was made god all rice content meals and meat was added in the last moment. So the tastes were not merged at all.
Chana masala – was spicy as well, but it was more predictable. The portion size this time was normal. It was decent meal with garlic naan but nothing special.
Not that kind of experience you want to repeat:(
The food was extremely unhygienic, and the taste was just as bad. The so-called “biryani” was nothing more than rice mixed with curry in a pan—nowhere close to actual biryani.
The hygiene standards were shocking. The staff consisted of just one guy and a lady (likely his better half), and neither of them bothered to wash their hands before cooking. They didn’t even wear gloves while handling the food. It was honestly concerning to watch.
All the bad reviews about this place are real. This is the worst Desi restaurant in the Bay Area. Avoid at all costs! Cheap Prices may lure you but don’t fall for it
