It took us a while to get desperate enough to try a different Indian place after moving away from our favorite Indian restaurant. But I am so glad we gave Naan a try. We came in on a Sunday afternoon and the service was a bit off from the beginning. While our server and the staff seemed a bit off at first, we spoke with a staff member towards the end of our visit who really made up for it.
We ordered garlic naan, lamb biryani, and saag paneer. The garlic naan was some of the best I have had in a long while. The lamb biryani was well cooked and aromatic. The saag paneer was tasty and well made. I now know we can come back and try some other dishes we love.
The restaurant itself offers a ton of parking, is very well decorated, and has clean bathrooms. Prices were competitive for Charleston as well. Overall, I am glad we came and we will be back.

Came here with my husband after seeing a movie. The food was very delicious and the staff was very friendly. The menu had many options, so there is definitely something for everyone! I hope to come here again!

I have officially stopped pretending I am going to try somewhere new when I am in the area. Every time I consider it, I somehow end up right back here, and honestly, I have made peace with that.
The food is fresh, beautifully presented, and dangerously consistent. It tastes like someone in the kitchen cares, deeply. Every bite feels intentional.
Walking into the restaurant feels almost ceremonial, as if a gentle band from the heavens has decided your arrival deserved background music. The atmosphere is warm without trying too hard, polished without feeling stiff.
The waitstaff are attentive in that quiet, effortless way. Dishes disappear the moment you are finished, water refilled before you even realize you needed it. Seamless service.
The buffet is immaculate and constantly replenished, which tells you everything about their standards.
If 10 stars were an option, I would use all of them. And yes, I hear they have opened another location in Nexton, which feels less like expansion and more like public service.

Food so damn good and aromatic that I forgot to take pic until after I devoured part of it. Flavors are strong and the staff are super friendly. Didn’t know that they had a lunch buffet, which I will get next time, but I had a specific taste I wanted

One of my favorite lunches I’ve had in Charleston in a long time. We got the buffet and it was the right choice. An incredible assortment of dishes, and the spice levels were perfect. Some were hotter than others but all manageable for those not used to a spice palette.
Incredible rice kheer btw. Holy moley.
Run here and support this place. The decor and ambiance are fantastic and the service is world class. Super polite, on top of it.

Great experience. Really enjoyed the butter chicken. I would have liked more pieces of chicken but the flavor can’t be beat.
The Northwood location has the lowest score for a reason. I sent my husband to get what they call street style fried rice which was supposed to come with Thai chili and house sauce. I received some bland fried rice and no sauce, so different from the nexton experience.

As a Indian. I Approve. The food definitely feels real authentic Indian and they even have spice levels if you want to eat it spicy or not. Naan, butter chicken, biryani, and chicken Tikka are all really good. Service is fabulous and quick. Everyone working there was very nice and helpful. Atmosphere has a real good vibe to it. I have to say this might be in the top 3 best Indian restaurant I ever had and I usually sort of hate eating Indian food outside cause of the cost and quantity. Overall perfect 5/5. AGM approved

I recently visited an Indian restaurant in North Charleston, and I was pleasantly surprised by their buffet. Despite having a limited selection, the quality and taste were exceptional. The buffet featured two vegetarian and two chicken appetizers, along with naan, rice, two non-veg curries, and three veg curries. To top it off, they offered a classic dessert—gulab jamun.
Every dish was well-prepared, and the flavors were spot on. The service was excellent; the staff were friendly, attentive, and patient. I’ve been here for dinner before and didn’t find it as satisfying, but this buffet experience has definitely changed my mind. I would highly recommend this buffet any day.
Additionally, the ambiance of the restaurant is cool and elegant, adding to the overall dining experience.
5/5 — Highly recommend!

We were in the area for some shopping and decided to check this place out on a whim. Boy am I glad we did! The staff was friendly and efficient, the dinning room was clean and decorated much more upscale than would be expected in a strip mall. I was thrilled to seated with cloth napkins and a glass of water. This simple elegance has been forgotten in most restaurants. We ordered the butter chicken and the Rajasthani lamb along with a couple different naan. The food arrived in a respectable time and looked amazing. I had ordered the lamb and asked for it medium spicy. It was perfectly cooked. The lamb was fork tender, the sauce was aromatic and packed with flavor. The basmati rice was cooked to perfection and the naan, the bread the restaurant is named for, oh wow.
Naan at Northwoods sets the standard not just for Indian cuisine but for full service restaurants. Highly recommended!
