Excellent stir fried eggplant, fish flavored eggplant (less salt), fish fillet soup, cabbage, peanuts and cucumber, and great value overall especially if you meet the minimum ($25) to get a certain dish for 30% off or so.
We like the eggplant crispy and no added salt.

Some items on the menu are only written in Chinese. We used Google Lens to translate some of the menu items. Our server did not seem to speak English, but we pointed at the menu and worked out our order.
We ordered a Braised Pork Bone Dish on the Specials list. We also got Home Made Pancakes, Beijing Fried Noodles w/ Soy Sauce, and Pork Chinese Cabbage Dumplings. The pork bones tasted good, but you have to work hard to get some of the meat off the bones. All of the food tasted good.

Love this place! Guo Bao Rou is must order. The portion is huge, my mother is from Northeast China and she confirmed that the taste is very authentic. The service is very good too and we will definitely come again. Five stars!

Restaurant looks super dirty. She dumps water from sink to pitcher with her unwashed hands that’s been working on everything.
Saturday night without any other waiters/waitress, just the owner herself. I walked in, checked the menu, she was doing everything but to serve me. I stood in front of the counter for a long time, thinking she’s busy it’s ok, as I watched her doing everything in an unsanitary way. And then someone finished his dinner and tries to pay. She asked me to STEP ASIDE and let him pay first. EXCUSE YOU ? I’ve been standing there forever but you doesn’t even look at me, and now someone need to pay, all of a sudden you got time ? And ask me who arrived for a long time to step aside???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DO NEVER GO HERE. ITS EXTREMELY DIRTY ANYWAY. Health and safety department need to check them up.

Food is just about OK. No chopstick or any tableware in the Togo order. What do you think I’m ordering from you? Burger or fries?

Delicious, delicious, delicious!! The beans were perfectly tender, and the eggplant with pork was incredible. We couldn’t stop eating. We stopped talking and just raved about it. (We had originally planned to go to Koreatown, but we saw Huang Lei and Jia Bing cooking before we left and decided to order Northeastern cuisine instead. It was so good.)
The food was affordable, the portions were generous, and the owner was very friendly. They even had daily specials. The place was clean and bright. I had a lot left over, and I hate that tourists can’t take it away.

The sweet and sour pork was delicious, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with an even thickness of batter. I wish the ginger and vinegar flavors were a bit stronger, it would be perfect. But it’s the best sweet and sour pork I’ve had in the Los Angeles area. The stir-fried eggplant, green peppers, and potatoes and the braised three delicacies were also cooked perfectly and tasted great. Highly recommended!

I’m really impressed. They only accept cash or bank transfers, and I found steel wool in the fish-flavored pork shreds. It’s really scary. The hygiene is terrible.
