This was a spontaneous stop for us. We were attracted by the bright lights on the way home from playing pickleball, and we were on a high when we left the restaurant! The staff was wonderful. Our waiter, who was a young gentleman with wavy hair, had the best Italian vibes. The food in the photos were delicious, and we had the porcini mushroom with truffle oil pasta that is not pictured, and it was very tasty. It was a fantastic meal, and we look forward to coming back again. We were lucky enough to celebrate their one year anniversary with them, and I hope they have plenty more to celebrate in the future!

The best Italian food in Colorado. The reviews were spot on! They were packed on a Wednesday night. I definitely recommend a reservation. The food was incredible and so authentic. The pizzas and pastas tasted as if I was actually in Italy. I was very impressed. Hidden gem!

I’ve been searching for authentic Italian eateries ever since I moved to the United States. As someone who lived in Italy at some point in my life, I knew that genuine Italian cuisine was within my reach. One night, with minimal expectations, I visited this restaurant, and it turned out to be a place where I rediscovered the authentic flavors that my appetite remembered from my days in Italy. Finally I have found the place in Colorado where one can eat authentic italian cuisine. If you like restaurants in Italy, you will love this place. The portions are sensible, and therefore may not satisfy the folks who live for the endless salad bar at Olive Garden, but the food is exquisite and the staff, mostly all from the same Roman family, is welcoming and very good at their jobs. Come and discover for yourself! I will only say that every course, from appetizer to dessert was thoughtfully presented and executed. The food is authentically Italian and lovingly prepared. I give Na Favola a 6 stars out of 5 review. I’ll be back way too often! Update: we came back for Valentine’s Day and had an exquisite meal. The food just keeps getting better. Wild boar ragù over mafaldine pasta was rich, flavorful and perfectly served with a sprig of rosemary. The cheese pinsa (pizza, Roman style), with black olives was delicious and the addition of the best hot oil outside of Calabria made it even better. As usual the olive oil cake for dessert: light and scrumptious, served with a prefect zabaglione sauce was a great way to finish, accompanied by wonderful espresso martinis! Happy Valentine’s Day to Noemi, Daniele, and tutti at Na Favola, our new favorite restaurant in Colorado! Come early and be prepared to wait… all the trendiest residents of Greenwood Village have discovered this jewel in their midst!

If you’re looking for authentic Italian food in Colorado, look no further! This place lives up to their reputation of importing their ingredients from Italy. I could tell that’s the truth because normally pasta made here in the U.S. makes me feel bloated and tired after I eat it, but that wasn’t the case at all with the pasta I had here.
I had the tagliatelle salmone with a pink vodka sauce. The noodles had an incredible bite and texture and the sauce was to die for. However, the amount of salmon in the dish was extremely sparse. I’m not even sure if it was three ounces total of little salmon pieces. For the price of $24, I honestly would have been put off had it not been for just how good the pasta, veggies, and sauce were. And fortunately because it’s pasta, it was still filling.
The person I was with ordered the special of the day, a white fish with mashed potatoes and broccolini. I tried some of it, and everything was also very good (best broccolini I’ve had). Once again, we thought the portion of the fish was a tad on the small side for the price however.
The olive oil cake for dessert was also phenomenal. Not overbearing with the olive oil flavor at all and one of the softest cakes I’ve ever had, made better by the fact that it stayed warm throughout the whole time eating it.
Our server was very helpful, and the food came fairly fast and fresh. Check out some fun old marketing ads on the bathroom walls. An easy recommend for authentic Italian in Colorado, but definitely expect quality over quantity and to splurge a bit here since it’s not cheap (no bread or anything complimentary is included either). I will definitely be back to try their pizzas.

We loves every dish we tried. Squid ink pasta, a pizza, pesto pasta, and truffle pasta. Even my wife loved them all and she is really tough on Italian restaurants because she always compares it to the food her Nanna cooked as a child. We are already planning to go back with some other friends.

My wife and I had an incredible experience at Na Favola Trattoria & Pizzeria, a family-owned Italian restaurant run by brothers Dan and Silvio, who are originally from Rome! Our server, Fabio was great. He explained that all of the food in the restaurant is made in Italy, the best Italian experience I’ve ever had. I have not been to Italy but I felt like I was. I had the pizza, it was thin but that is exactly the way they make it in Italy .
The atmosphere is very nice it was well decorated.
The prices where reasonable.
The main room was very loud so I would ask to sit in the outside patio thing on the side.
Over all, great food real Italian workers and real Italian food. I did not have the pasta but Fabio highly recommended it.
