Delicious food! Best Korean fried chicken I’ve ever had. As a group of 4 we were able to try a lot of menu items! We also got the jumokbap small plate, pork dumplings, bibimbap, lobster jumokbap, and poke bowl. Everyone finished everything on their plates, it was so good. I’ve been craving that chicken every day since. Simply addictive. Next time I’ll probably get the chicken, jumokbap small plate and dumplings again. Those were my top hits! Service was top notch and the cocktails were delicious too. The bartender gave us a complimentary taste of one of his new creations, which was amazing. We will definitely be back!

Everything we tried here for dinner was absolutely delicious! The fried eggplant and edamame dip was the highlight, highly recommend.

Service was super friendly, they even accommodated a change in reservation time which was nice. The food is high quality, very fresh and came out quick. It was a great experience for us.

Located in downtown Portland, the experience was great. Got sat immediately at the outdoor patio and ordered several small plates including the Korean Fried Chicken. Food came out quick, was fresh and loaded with flavor. Would recommend every time.

We were looking for a place for dinner, and it was Friday night, so it was difficult to walk in. They were able to seat 6 of us here upstairs where the prepared meals were and not downstairs where you can BBQ. I had the lobster boa and the beef bulgolgi. The lobster boa was one of the best boa I have ever had, and the bulgolgi was good. My wife had the wagyu beef, and she said it was the best she had ever had. Our friends liked their meals a well. Definitely good food and good service.

I’ve been to the location twice, once for the dining room and once for the bbq. Both experiences were amazing! The service is great, the food is incredible! We got the dinner combo and it was a lot of food for two people, but if you both love to eat it’s perfect. The cocktails were tasty too! There were no complaints and we will be back again.

We had a wonderful experience at N to tails! I had a delicious Mocktail, a Strawberry Paloma and my other half enjoyed a Dracarys with jalapeno infused tequila. We shared a couple of items the menu, starting with the Jalapeno Tempura, we both enjoyed this but wished the sauce with it was a touch spicier. For a second course we shared the KFC Fried Chicken Bao Buns. I highly recommend this dish! It hit the spot and the portion was very generous, 4 buns with some daikon radish. We were seated in the windows and the service was prompt, friendly and professional!! We will be back!

The food was delicious and the service was excellent! Portion sizes were small for the price and our entree came out before our appetizer. Felt like I was on a double date with how close the tables are, was less than a foot away from the lady next to me. It was difficult to talk with my date because of how loudly their Tiktok radio was playing.

The good:
The food is exceptional, seriously incredible. The pork dumplings are to die for and the fried chicken was phenomenal.

The bad:
The service was abysmal, probably some of the worst service I’ve had in a long time. After we ordered food and drinks, our waitress more or less ignored us.
The bartender had no idea how to make drinks, so much so the waitress had to spend her time telling him how to make them.
After we finished our meal we decided to finish off with a drink. My beer came out right away, my wife’s mai Thai took 45 MINUTES to come out. The waitress checked on us once, while we waited, at roughly the 20 minute mark and claimed it would be right out. 25 minutes later it finally came out. At this point my drink is gone, the food is gone and we ask for our check. I assume they’d comp the drink considering it took 45 minutes to come out, nope. Full price. We pay and leave.

I’ve heard nothing but great things about this place but my experience was absolute garbage. Maybe in the future hire a bartender who can make drinks and maybe some more wait staff. I understand we weren’t a table of 4 or 6 , just a couple, but it sucked to feel ignored and to have such bad service.

My boyfriend and I were on the hunt for a dinner place in Portland. Luckily, we walked by and smelled the food coming from N to Tail. I grew up in the area and knew it has a slightly overpriced Japanese restaurant called Fuji, and we had been to N to Tail before but we were not impressed. This time everything exceeded our expectations: the staff, food, and overall feeling of the restaurant were great. There are a lot of small plates, some larger plates and some entrees to choose from. Based on everything we got you couldn’t go wrong with anything you decided to order. The drink menu was a good size and there are some vegetarian options but it’s definitely meat and fish heavy, although you could potentially ask about substitutions. We got the raw tuna, bok choy with tofu, spicy cucumber and fried eggplant. We then ordered the vegetable bibimbap and dak galbi, and everything tasted amazingly delicious. I’m so glad they’re still around and I highly recommend trying it!

They know have a killer Wednesday deal and are still have delicious food both in the general dinner area and the downstairs grill area. Still have to be on the lookout for the veggie options but we love revisiting!
