Order Myungrang Korean Hotdog – Tukwila – DoorDash
No.1 Hotdog brand name in Korea 명랑핫도그 (@myungrangtukwila)
Reviews
The food took quite a while, but the tenders and dogs were tasty. They also had a lot of saucers that you could get. The only disappointment was that there was virtually no meat in our hot dog.
The chicken on the other hand was all spice and no flavor sadly, even the plain chicken tasted more like frying oil than anything. Also the lack of any sort of gochujang dipping sauce is odd for a korean restaurant.
On suggestion would be to make items less salty, especially when you account for how salty the hot Cheetos & sausage is to the corn dog you should account for how much salt that already has to reduce the salt in the batter.
Reasonably priced, we spent $15 for the two items and was filling for two people.
Good music playing the background, they have a sauce bar, & very clean.
There are many seating available, since it’s also connected to the Sharetea! One of the best hot dog/ Korean snack restaurant in SEA!
After food comes out, there’s a little sauce bar where you can choose what you want to dip your corn dog in (mango habanero, ranch, ketchup, mustard, cheddar cheese, and cheddar mustard were some options).
My boyfriend really enjoyed his corn dog (the beef and cheese). I had a bite and agree that it was pretty tasty. I got the squid ink and it was good for the first three bites, but after eating the top 1/3, the remaining 2/3 of the corn dog interior dough was not cooked all the way through and soggy. I just ended up throwing it away because it tasted off and I didn’t want to wait another 10 minutes for a new one.
I would give it a second chance, but quality control needs to be more of a focus as I see some other reviewers have had this issue.
CLEARLY the reviewer was talking about the HOT DOG MEAT being burnt, not the “dark color of the ink batter”
This is an example of a company sweeping legitimate criticism under the rug and even having the gall to ask them to come back for more!
Gross customer service that can’t even accept they made bad food one time…
So tired of these gentrified businesses out of touch with the locals…
Update:
I just tried 92 Chicken, and it’s my new favorite spot for Korean crispy chicken! The wings are perfectly crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor, but the spicy sauce is on another level – the perfect mix of heat and taste. You can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients, and everything feels made with care. If you love bold and crispy deliciousness, you need to check this place out!
Thank you!
