We are a Kava Bar and Tea House Lounge located in Downtown Lake Worth Beach. We pride ourselves on providing a positive, unique, and accepting social atmosphere. Stop by and try our specialty drinks: a shell of Traditional Kava and the Mysty (blueberry-pomegranate lemonade with calming plant extracts)! All of our products are made in house daily. Everything is organic, fair trade, without preservatives, non-GMO, and no high-fructose corn syrup. We are LGBTQ+ Safe Space.

I recently stopped by Mystic Roots Kava Bar after a friend mentioned they’d made some staff changes and brought in new kavatenders. I’m really glad I checked it out, because the difference is obvious — in the best way possible.
As a new customer, the first thing I noticed was how calm and relaxing the whole place feels. No drama, no tension, just an easy vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. The new team behind the bar is welcoming and knowledgeable, and they set the tone right away.
Deb, the founder and manager, deserves a ton of credit. You can tell she’s put real effort into elevating the space and the culture. Everything feels more intentional — from the service to the atmosphere — and it shows.
If you’re looking for a chill spot in Lake Worth Beach with good energy and even better people, Mystic Roots is absolutely worth a visit. It’s quickly become one of my new go-to places.

I feel compelled to address the recently made 1-star reviews, which don’t accurately represent this establishment. As someone who has been part of the kava community for quite some time, I can honestly say that Mystic stands out as one of the few kava bars in Palm Beach County where I’ve consistently felt welcome and safe.
Deb, the manager, has done an exceptional job maintaining a positive atmosphere with quality products and genuine hospitality. Despite what recent reviews might suggest, this place hasn’t “gone downhill” at all. It remains an excellent spot whether you’re looking to work quietly or enjoy good conversation with friends and staff.
Like any business, staffing decisions sometimes need to be made based on operational needs; it’s not personal, it’s just part of running an establishment efficiently.
Anyone familiar with the kava community knows that every bar has its share of interpersonal dynamics, but Mystic has always prioritized creating a drama-free environment.

What can I say… Kava spots are about great drinks and a place to enjoy them. Sometimes when ur new to a Kava bar it can be a awkward, but not here… I had great welcome from the start. So the vibe has always been awesome from the start. Open super early and closes super late! Being on the strip in Lake Worth Beach makes it easy to get to and find free parking . It has wheelchair friendly entrances front and back. Super kid friendly (tons of games to play). Occasional live music and and a book club to boot ! Plenty of food nearby if you wanna grab some pizza or something from one of the neighboring restaurants. The location is cute and comfy. A lil’ home away from home (the decor is so quaint. A large table for meetings and group gatherings. I realky like the drinks here… Lady in Red; Champagne Supernova; L-Dub; Bay Breeze are some of my favorites. And of course, singles, doubles, triples, and quads. And the sparkling water drinks are soo good! Ohh, almost forgot! They have Margaritas! And my favorite parts are… The staff is always a pleasure to see them (and they make feel it’s for them as we ll) . We have had some really great conversations. And the music selections always on point! ♥️
And finally the icing on the cake … Mystic is pet friendly!
My cats are so welcomed here, they know them by name. That makes it one of my favorite places! Yay!

Cool, relaxing place to hang out and do some homework! or socialize n meet new people! I really like their Skinny Mysty Drink and Sour Patch shots, super tasty and made with all natural, vegan ingredients! All their drinks can be made with raw sugar or sugar free, which I reeaally appreciate! I get the Mysty but with real fruit concentrate and stevia, it’s soo gooood! I come here to do homework and study and it’s such a relaxing place in the mornings. At night, I come back to hang out n have some amazing convos with everyone. I moved here 2 years ago n met so many new friends at Mystic! All the current bartenders are kind and I always get greeted (BY NAME!) within a minute of entering the bar, Deb and Anthony even have my drink order memorized, and I always come in stressed and leave happy n relaxed! ❤️ There’s also great food near by, they let you bring it in to sit and eat. And always a cool event going on in town so you can go check it out and escape to the peace and quiet of Mystic!! Come check it out!!

Noah and Deb are very skilled kava tenders! The kava and kradom drinks are delicious. The products here are high quality as well as giving you a good relaxing effect. All the kava tenders are very knowledgeable on what products would benefit you specifically. The Misty was very good, I’d definitely recommend it. They also have clover rewards that use only your phone so it’s super easy. I really like the regulars that come into Mystic are kind and friendly, coming from all ages.

Great kava bar on the Ave. They have the largest variety of drinks available anywhere and they actually taste good. Deb knows what she is doing, competition is stiff, (as you can see by the recent negative reviews trying to kill it), but the bar is still standing. Along with the good people.
