So when I heard this new spot opened up, I accompanied the family and marched in with both hope and suspicion. We kicked things off with a mix of veg and non-veg appetizers -dahi puri, mutton sheekh kebabs, the usual suspects.
Much to my shock (and my family’s relief), the flavors absolutely slapped. Even the Paneer Tikka was so good it made me rethink every life choice involving mediocre paneer.
Then came the dish I had been eagerly waiting for… the Tandoori Lobster Tikka. Listen. This wasn’t just food. This was a spiritual experience.
This dish didn’t just win my heart-it adopted it, raised it, and paid for its college tuition.
Of course, I refuse to leave ANY Indian restaurant without ordering the holy grail: Butter Chicken. This time, I paired it with Chilli Garlic Naan, and together the two performed a romantic Bollywood duet in my soul.
And dessert? Please. Leaving without dessert is chaos. An insult to my ancestors. I was recommended the Salted Caramel Kulfi, and wow-what a grand finale. Creamy, dreamy, and easily the best kulfi I’ve ever had. So do yourself a favor and visit Mystic India. You will not regret it.
Signed: Unapologetically full.
We ea Indian food a lot and I can clearly state this was some of the best we’ve had, anywhere.
The flavours were unique, the amount of protein pieces (chicken – lamb) in the dishes was surprisingly numerous and the Missi Roti was a nice surprise.
I had the Lamb Rogan Josh and it was excellent (if you’re a lamb fan). The sause had a unique (and great) sub-flavour that kept you guessing. I’d order it again.
She had the “Butter Chicken” and also said it was one of the best she’s had.
Jeera rice was a great accomplishment.
All dishes came out steaming hot (temperature not spice level)
By the way, you won’t leave here hungry. We only ordered two curries, one rice and 1 roti and almost didn’t finish it.
Wine selection was not large but well chosen to match the food choices.
I’ve had the Butter Chicken, the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Mutton Biryani, all were excellent and very flavorful. Great veggie samosas and naan round out the dishes I’ve tried. The decor is very nice with but it can be a little loud at times if a big group gets a little boisterous. The drink were all well made and service is always top notch.
I chose 3 dishes recommended by my well informed server.
Lovely chicken and lamb delicious. Delicious naan.
Friendly and attentive staff.
