Upscale seafood experience. Well appointed, linen table cloths, selection of booths and tables. Interesting ambiance with moderate lighting and low lit fish aquariums throughout. Our service was excellent with dinners coming out well presented, well portioned and hot. For our table of five there were options for all. I enjoyed trying the pork chop to test the seafood alternate. It was cooked to perfection and accented with mashed potatoes and vegetables. There is patio service and although it borders the parking driveway, seems to be a nice set up.

This has always been a special restaurant for me. It was one of my father’s favourites and we would often come when I visited and now he’s gone and whilst visiting a friend in the area we came for a special meal tonight and it did not disappoint. The steak tartare is one of the very best I’ve ever had and a great sized portion. I had the Cobia fish which was one of the specials, and a fish I had never had or even heard of before! It was amazing; great flavour and seasoned/cooked perfectly. The mash and the veggies were also awesome and the meal I felt was very reasonably priced for what it was. Great atmosphere and friendly helpful servers – thank you Tom for your recommendations and explanations!

Tampa Bay Food Tours is sharing a local favorite that is a mainstay for a reason! Mystic Fish in Palm Harbor never disappoints. The photos featured are from their infamous early dinner specials—huge portions, beautifully prepared, and at truly amazing prices. The quality, freshness, and presentation feel upscale, but the value makes it approachable and perfect for locals and visitors alike. Consistently delicious seafood, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. If you haven’t tried the early dinner, you’re missing out! Visit soon and tell them Tampa Bay Food Tours sent you.

Good food and good service in a strip mall restaurant with an elegant interior. Both the Crab Stuffed Artichoke Bottoms and the PEI Mussels are very good. The Mussels have a good broth that includes chorizo. The deserts are small but excellent. Service by Tanya was also very good. There is a full bar and a fair wine list. There is plenty of parking in a free lot.

Great experience all around. Avery answered lots of questions and provided excellent recommendations. We started with the bread service (just spend the $3 already) and lobster escargot. Probably enough butter for the week but totally worth it. For entrees we had the snapper and sea bass. I would have been very pleased with either selection but the sea bass just might be the best I’ve had. So glad we stopped in!

This is how you are supposed to dine. The duck was incredible. We travel here for trips every few months and we will be back. This trip was to celebrate our engagement and we were treated with dessert. I will take more photos when I get back into town.

We had our 19th year anniversary dinner here this week. We like to try different dishes so we shared all of these and enjoyed all of them! We had the artichoke hearts and crab, escargot with butter and garlic, appetizer scallops, Blue crab app, and bread. For dessert we had the key lime and creme brulee.

We went here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Everything was amazing. We had escargot for an appetizer and the bread service was a great choice to pair with the sauce from the appetizer. We also had the bisque, scallops, and oysters. Everything was super fresh, well presented, and a great experience overall. We’d highly recommend making reservations and they even gave my wife a dessert for her birthday. Very classy move! This is a hidden treasure for seafood lovers.

After trying for two weeks to get in at this restaurant we were able to make a Sunday reservation. I highly suggest you plan out if you truly have plans to have wonderful dinner there. Now to the review, I must add it was absolutely well worth the wait. The decor is personalized and abstract beautifully laid through out the restaurant. Attention to detail creates a relaxed yet formal atmosphere, very enjoyable. Our server was extremely friendly, transparent, professional. Appetizers food and drinks were perfectly timed, their system of serving is choreographed nicely. For the appetizer we had the steak tartar which was heavenly, diced up, with capers and marinated. My wife had the lobster escargo which was good however the lobster bits were a bit small. I suggest the tartar. The dinner was a dream, for me ordering the Duck, with a side a Mash potatoes and spinach. Perfectly cooked an marinated it was like a filet.mignon. The portions of the mash and spinach are generous, and could be shareable imo if youre lite eaters. My wife had the special “Seared Yellowfin Tuna” also with Mash and Spinach. This fish is absolutely incredible, my wife and I were both sharing our dinners with each other. Topped off with a bottle Charles Krug Cabernet this was the perfect dinner. A big shout out to the chef, a master at his craft. The seasoning and marinade used on meals create a festive pleasure. HIGHLY recommend this restaurant, MAKE RESERVATIONS at least a week out, imo.
Sunday eve at 6 ot quickly filled right behind us walking in.

Mystic Fish is an excellent seafood restaurant. It is a small above average dining experience. The wait staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The dining area is clean and well-maintained. Mystic Fish has an upper end feel but at the same time casual. The food is well prepared and presented elegantly. Reservations are highly recommended.
I definitely recommend Mystic Fish.
