Historic home-made ice cream store located on the iconic bascule bridge in Downtown Mystic, CT. We are a second generation family owned business, specializing in artisanal home-made ice cream. Our ice cream is made right on site daily. We pride ourselves using the best, all natural, fresh ingredients, with no artificial flavor, dye, or additives. In addition to our ice cream we also provide an array of coffee, espresso, cappuccino, and specialty lattes, in addition to house made cookies, and many other sweet treats and menu items! We make the best!

A little bit insult to the weather coz it is 32 degrees outside, raining and 40mph winds. but can’t really beat trying one of the best ice cream I ate this year. A lot of different seasonal flavors and in house specials. cozy place inside. welcoming and helpful staff as well. will definitely comeback when heading back to mystic.

I ordered the Barbados Rum Raisin and I really loved it! They have so many flavors inside and you can try before you order, which I liked a lot. The shop is super cute with a vintage vibe — they’ve been open since 1991 so it feels very classic and charming.
If you visit Mystic, you really shouldn’t miss this spot. They also have a terrace area where you can sit and enjoy your ice cream while looking at the drawbridge — the view is really nice! Perfect stop for dessert when walking around town. Highly recommend!

I stopped by for a cup of ice cream and tried two flavors — roasted almond and mocha. Both were really tasty and went perfectly together! The roasted almond had a nice nutty flavor, and the mocha was smooth and rich without being too sweet. The staff were super nice and friendly, which made the visit even better.
I also really liked the seating area — it has a great view of the bridge, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your ice cream. Overall, it’s a lovely place with good vibes, friendly service, and delicious ice cream. I’ll definitely come back to try more flavors next time!

We visited Mystic, CT and stopped at the popular Ice Cream shop. We waited in line for about 15 mins to order because it crowded on Saturday afternoon. They have many flavors. Staff were attentive, took orders quickly and yes it was delicious. There isn’t a lot of space to sit so we went outside and sat near the drawbridge to take in the sights. Definitely recommend trying their ice cream.

It’s a unique experience to have ice cream in Mystic. There was wide selection of different flavors.Inside it’s a bit small with few seats but this shop have beautiful views of the river and seats outside. It’s just next to drawbridge over the river and if you are lucky enough like ourselves, you can watch drawbridge opening up and a ship passing under it. It was very interesting view to watch standing on the deck of the ice cream shop. We had wild blueberry and raspberry ice cream and these tasted really great.

The shake was amazing, but the price wasn’t. I know it’s a tourist area, but thirty-five dollars for a t-shirt is ridiculous. It is really cool being by the drawbridge, as we could watch it go up and down. There are a lot of different flavors for ice cream. I got the peanut butter crunch, and it was very filling. I also posted the drawbridge pictures and videos to the actual place on Maps for the drawbridge.
