This has got to be the best place I’ve been to in a long while. The waitress we had was absolutely perfect. One of our youngins dropped his pancakes, and they were quick to comfort him and let him know he wasn’t in trouble, and that accidents happen. Prices are better than reasonable. All around five stars. Food was great, waitresses were great. Next time we are back in town, we will be eating here again

This place is amazing. We were driving from Houston to Illinois to take our daughter to college. Our waitress (Stephanie) and the team made us feel at home. Great good. Great people. Stop by if you get close! This place is a secret to the locals, but they welcome outsiders.

I’m so glad we found this little GEM downtown. Great food. The place was packed we walked in and to my surprise got right to a table fast service and there was three of us and I think the bill was around 33 dollars. You cannot beat that anywhere. Highly recommend it

When we come to Poplar Bluff and we want breakfast, this is where my family goes. The service is phenomenal. All the staff check on you throughout your whole stay. Our cups were never empty. We ordered the steak and eggs with a pancake with pecan, 2 cakes Meat and eggs and the Debbie special. All the food was so delicious. I want to shout out our waitress Laura and the other ladies that checked on us, Cindy and Peet. The hospitality here is just so comforting and welcoming. Thanks ladies. See you next time!

UPDATE: Lunch yesterday, Doug had ham and beans with potatoes, it was delicious. I had a Rueben sandwich with onion rings, they were great as well.
This place has only gotten better with each visit. A definite must with any trip to Poplar Bluff!
Recommended a the best place to eat in Poplar Bluff and they are correct. We had a great meal, waitress, Tia was on it, we never wanted for anything. We will definitely return.

We love eating here, food is always fantastic. However, we wish they had not remodeled the dining room to look like every other restaurant. To sterile, cheap feeling and way to modern. The homey atmosphere it used to have made coming here feel like coming home. Now it no longer has that amazing feel.
