Myrtle in East Providence is a premier New England music venue and bar. I was here on a cold winter Friday night, the music loud, the women warm {wink}, and the place was packed. Everything about this space speaks elegance. The stage, the lighting, the sound, all first class. Plenty of seating choices too, complete with sofas and a very large bar, with a hard working staff to keep up with the demands of the many patrons. I didn’t eat here but I did take a look at the menu, which, while very limited, seemed quite creative, as were the delicious house cocktails. Pick a show and get in here. Highly recommended.

Great speakeasy venue at 134 Waterman Avenue in East Providence. Amazing bands and lively music! Delicious drinks and nice variety. Very open, comfortable sofas and chairs, booths, and large bar. No food available; but, food can be brought in.

Myrtle is awesome. One of my favorite venues in Rhode Island with amazing ambience and drinks. They have some small bites, but I highly recommend taking out pizza next door if you’re very hungry.

Awesome artsy speakeasy vibes here. Saw a couple of great live bands here and had a great time. The decor is cool, there’s a full bar plus booths and couches for hanging out on, and the live sound was wonderful. Big props to the sound engineer! Clear, balanced, loud enough hear everything but not too loud that you couldn’t have a conversation. Great selection of beers and cocktails. Highly recommend this place!

Myrtle is one of the most eclectic and welcoming small bars/music venues in RI, from solo acts and full bands of all genres to movie nights, burlesque, comedy, open mics, and variety shows – Myrtle has it all! The interior decor is cozy & vintage, they keep their bar menu fresh with a good variety of beers, ciders, and award-winning seasonal cocktail recipes, and they have great pop-up food vendors at select events. Owners Tommy & Natalie are very hardworking and accommodating people who really care about local arts in RI and have done such a great job making Myrtle an enjoyable space for everyone! 10/10 would recommend!

Truly a special place! Impeccably chosen decor that gives it a distinctive character and classiness in equal measure. Always welcoming to both regulars and newcomers.
The breadth and talent of the musicians that play there is incredible. Interesting cocktails and a warm atmosphere. As a bonus, there’s a sweet little vintage shop tucked in back with all kinds of cool stuff.
If you’ve never been, you’re truly missing out — go check them out ASAP, whether it’s solo, date night, with friends, whatever. You’ll probably find you’ve just discovered your new favorite spot!

What an amazing place. Came here with my son on a quiet Wednesday evening and was treated to a jazz band that was having a rehearsal here that was open to the public. Tommy was very helpful behind the bar and even allowed us to bring in pizza from across the road. On the right night, this place should be jumping….great atmosphere and a super-sized outside seating area. Give it a try!

Maybe the most fun bar EVER! It was so cute inside and everyone was so nice. My cocktail was delicious and the burger from rebel rations was amazing!! 10/10 – the talent show was so wholesome.

We went to see a cover band but due to the impending blizzard, the show was rescheduled. We did get a chance to meet the owners and actually spent a lot of time speaking with one, Natalie. And while we didn’t eat, we had a couple of drinks which were great. We liked The Myrtle so much that we bought tickets to see a show there next week.

Amazing place to go for drink and (free) music. Inviting atmosphere, accommodating staff, clean, and beautifully decorated. Nice selection of beer, cocktails, mocktails, and more. They take care of not only their customers but the musicians as well. Thank you for letting us host our High school reunion here, everyone had a blast and loved the pace!
