I used to go to tashes ankh back when the owners were the cooks. They are not the same nowadays. The food is amazing. I am so happy eating this. I will for sure to back. The chicken is tender, the veggies are seasoned and the rice is flaky. The island punch is homemade and delicious.

Today my boyfriend and I visited this place and we are so happy to have found this hidden gem!!! Ms. Christine met us at the door and was so personable and the food was absolutely AMAZING! We got brown stewed chicken and pepper steak, both 10 out of 10. The portions were huge and definitely worth the price. Can’t want to come back to support this black owned business 🙂

Arnold (owner) is an amazing cook! His food is aurhentic, tasty & served with love. After ordering takeout a few times and hosting my birthday lunch at the restaurant, I knew that I wanted him to cater for our organization’s 10th anniversary celebration. Our food was ready promptly for pickup. Our guests raved about the food.

I’ve even been to Jamaica, and this is the best jerk chicken I’ve ever had, hands down.
Under new management recently (Arnold) and wow, the change is amazing. Heart and soul put into this food. New obsession. We will be coming back often.

I cannot believe it took me so long to discover this place. But I discovered last summer and have been a huge fan ever since! The food is always hot and fresh. Ms. Christine is always pleasant and she knows exactly what I want. I absolutely love the jerk chicken/wings with rice and peas and cabbage. I have NEVER been disappointed.
The establishment is always clean!

Food was good, we ordered the beef stew, good flavor ! We also ordered a coconut bread, it was soft but not coconut taste at all , just like regular white bread, the lady who taken the order was not nice at all, she looked like she was mad but anyway

Ordered Jerk Chicken with Rice & Cabbage. Food was great, but service was not. I don’t like going places where I feel like I’m bothering the staff and I definitely felt like my presence here was not making her happy. I knew exactly what I wanted and ordered as I would anywhere else, but somehow I felt like my $25 wasn’t appreciated. I may try this place one more time because the food was excellent, but if I am treated like that again, I’m done. Lastly, don’t waste your time on the Coco Bread. It was just a big, commercially available dinner roll. Definitely not worth $4.

I ordered two brown stew chicken dinners and was extremely disappointed. The rice was mushy, and everything tasted bland with no real flavor!!! This was my first time trying this place, and it will also be my last.

I ordered the oxtail meal. It was horrible, and salty. I never had oxtails that didn’t have the oxtail flavor. My rice was hard, I honestly only had about three pieces of oxtails. It was so much gravy and beans in place of the oxtails. What a hugh disappointment.
I gave them a try based on the reviews. The only edible thing was the cabbage.
I tried to support this caribbean spot, but it won’t happen anytime soon.

I used to frequent this place often but stopped coming due to inconsistent quality. Unfortunately, tonight confirmed that decision, and this will be my last visit.
I ordered the Rasta Pasta with jerk chicken, easy on the spice and no peppers. What I received was dry, overcooked penne with barely any sauce, peppers throughout, very little chicken, and absolutely no flavor. Asking for it “easy on spice” does not mean removing the flavor of the jerk seasoning altogether.
For perspective, I’ve had frozen pasta that tasted better than this. That’s not an exaggeration.
Extremely disappointed.
