This is a welcomed dinner restaurant north of downtown in the museum neighborhood. The staff led my Ricardo and his brother are interested in excellent service. The eggplant was the best I have ever had. The Caesar salad was delicious… we make a good one and this was as good. The pasta sausage was enjoyed by my wife. The arincinie were not as homemade hot as I would have liked. The wine list is reasonably priced . Good tasting.
Overall a fun night with a great team making it happen.

Wonderful courteous service which is hard to find. Nice menu, food was really good.. Pasta cooked perfect. Eggplant parmigiana was delish. Desserts were really good as well. Atmosphere was nice but the sound level was really high, so hard to converse with a group and for those who are hard of hearing or bothered by loud noise when dinning. They had live music but hard to hear appreciate the singing.

This was a spontaneous dinner spot we chose due to our favorite place being closed on Tuesdays and let me tell you it blew us away. The food is beyond amazing. I got lasagne and ugh it melted in my mouth. I feel like everything is made from scratch since the tomato sauce didn’t give me heart burn like the processed ones. The spaghetti and meatballs was beyond delicious as well. I highly recommend this place!

I went at the request of a friend wanting to go to an authentic Italian restaurant.
I read some amazing reviews and I no wish I could give a rave review as well. That being said it wasn’t all negative.
It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but very cute inside.
The Bar is Wine only bar. Hoping for some Limoncello, or a Limoncello Spritzer like I had in Italy.
The Focaccia di Parma was definitely not what I hoped for, partly our fault as it was the only one that didn’t have sauce which I missed, but more than that the Prosciutto was stringy, cold and chewy. It was beautiful but the Prosciutto made it not very edible, I took it off. The bread itself was good and the olive oil used for dipping was very good.
The pasta was hit and miss. There were three of us so we tasted all three. I thought the Parpadelle Bolognese was the best and the Lasagna a close second. The pasta was fresh and al dente. The tomato sauce was very fresh and flavorful as well. The Paccheri Contadina was very bland considering it had Italian sausage, mushrooms and truffle sauce.
The dessert was the most disappointing. I love Tiramisu but these was so bland. Very little coffee flavor, maybe one lady finger, so basically a cup of fluffy pudding.
The positive was the staff! They also had a singer who was very nice and had a great voice. She stopped by our table.
Also pricey!

Our first time at Mymamma did not disappoint! It was a warm and inviting environment. We tried a bit of everything; apps were amazing, salad was fresh, wine was delicious and entree portions were huge! The staff were attentive and friendly. I had the chicken parm, and WOW, was I impressed with the quality of the meal. Double espresso was the best I’ve had! Highly recommend!!

I would have to agree with some of the previous low rating comments. Although we didn’t have reservations the owner still was able to find us a seat. Food is a little expensive. We are not wine drinkers. We had water, that taste like tap water. We ordered meatballs for an appetizer, that came lukewarm. They were the size of the meatballs you buy in the bag in the frozen section and it was only 2 for about $15. Next the lasagna and gnocchi were very good. We didn’t finish it all and boxed it up. We were not offered desert, even though we would have said no. We waited almost 10-15 mins for the server to bring the check after we boxed up our food. Over all for us, we sort of felt out of place, but made the best of it. The place is small inside, and it’s pricey to me. I believe they would like for you to have reservations instead of walking in.

The only place we found open on Thanksgiving!!! And it was absolutely perfect. It’s very nicely decorated, everything hadxa vintage touch and we quote liked it. Service was excellent, even though the place was very busy. The food is delicious – on the pricy side but we went for a special occasion so didn’t mind. Pasta is amazing, tasted authentically homemade. Dessert was very good – a bit expensive. Coming from Canada though everything converts as “expensive,”. Overall highly recommend for a nice and enjoyable outing.

Find an authentic Italian restaurant in Florida! Great wine selection… A lot of it is off menu. Chicken Parmesan is massive and the beef Geneva with fresh shaved truffle is amazing! Can’t wait to come back

had a large group of 12. We were all served at the same time! The food was hot and absolutely delicious – full of flavor and beautifully presented. Great selection of wines. Reasonable priced. Stivi, our server, was wonderful! Portions were perfect. The place is decorated nicely, felt like we were visiting Nonna!
We have so many Italian restaurants in Sarasota and THIS one is worth the visit! The food is so good! Homemade pasta – cooked al dente – absolutely delicious – flavorful sauce – so good! the steak was perfectly cooked and presented artfully. Every one of us enjoyed our meals and had a wonderful time. Thank you! Will be back!
Went back with a group of 8 – just as delicious – the decor is inviting – love the plates and glasses, the variety of seating, color scheme – it feels like you are walking into a home. Great wine + seriously delicious food plated exquisitely, and great service. Even the bills are served in books – adorable! My go to is the pacherri alla scoglio – the pasta is fresh and the sauce light and super flavorful! Others enjoyed the lasagna, pacheri contadina, beef scallopini, chicken parm, lentil soup, focaccia, and salads. Stivi is the best! Looking forward to our next visit.

The atmosphere is intimate and warm. The staff is very accommodating and friendly! And the pasta was the best I’ve ever had… and I’ve been to Italy!! The main server said his mother was in town from Italy for the past month and she made some of the specials!
