Delicious coffee and super aesthetic atmosphere! Very diverse options to make the tastiest drinks. I got a hot mocha with ✨cinnamon bun✨foam. How yummy is that?!! My sister and our friend all got different drinks and we shared a quiche , chocolate croissant , and tiramisu . All very delicious.
It is super aesthetic and chill inside. They offer free WiFi too, which is a great option for work from home people.
The owners, Amanda and Sebastian, are kind people. We got to chit chat with them.
They really care about the quality of their coffee grounds and the environment they provide their customer and community. ☕️ I love that they also display art work on their coffee coasters which was drawn by local students. They value the local community.
I am based in San Diego but whenever I visit Long Island, I have to make a stop here.
I highly recommend My Town’s Café! Wishing continued success to Amanda and Sebastian.

Such an adorable coffee shop/cafe in the area!!! Came here today after an appt, desperately needing coffee since I was restricted from caffeine all morning! It did not disappoint; I was tempted to even stay here to enjoy it, but had to run. The vibes are so cozy and chill, super laid back, with beautiful aesthetic and decor. Such cute touches! Feels so homey, exactly what I tend to seek! Loved that they still had a Christmas tree up in mid-January, added to the vibe. The decor is rustic, dark, and welcoming. Service great. Relaxed all the way. Would return and stay longer! Prices are definitely on the higher end but may be worth it if staying and enjoying it there – you’re lying for the ambiance and experience in that case I’d say. Otherwise a bit higher than necessary. But still worth a visit anyway!

I recently saw a social media post about MTC and knew that I had to pay a visit. Parking wasn’t an issue as there’s a free parking lot across the street and around the corner (follow the signs).
Upon entering I was greeted by the warm tones of the wood paneling, string lights, and festive greenery hung from the ceiling. The husband and wife owners quickly greeted me with a smile and asked what I would like to order. As someone who has difficulties making decisions in places where everything looks and sounds appealing, I asked for their favorite food and drink options. In response I received a hot americano with half and half and tiramisu flavoring. It was delicious. For my food option, I was given a goat cheese quiche. Definitely not something I would’ve ordered on my own, but it was surprisingly good.
The atmosphere in MTC is extremely welcoming, unlike many coffee shops that want you to order via an app, pick up your items from a counter, and leave immediately. There’s a couch, upholstered chairs, and several tables. The music isn’t obnoxiously loud and you can have a conversation at normal volume or even take a work call on your laptop thanks to the free WiFi.
I probably passed a dozen coffee shops during my drive to Islip, but if you’re willing to go a bit out of your way for a quality coffee experience, I highly recommend MTC.

It was my first time visiting this café and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I went there for an event and it was a great experience. I didn’t try any of the pastries so I can’t really comment on those but the coffee was exceptionally good and tasted very high quality. Overall, it’s a nice, cozy spot perfect for events, hanging out with friends or just relaxing. Definitely check it out.

Today was my first time visiting and staff were so sweet, very friendly and helpful. I got a tiramisu latte and the orange cake. The latte was good and the orange cake was INSANE. Definitely dense enough for multiple people to enjoy. The decor is very warm and cozy, not overly bright like some spaces. A great place to bring a book or a friend!

I happened to walk past this café and was instantly drawn in by the bright, sunlit windows. Once inside, it felt less like a coffee shop and more like a cozy living room at home. The walls are filled with artwork created by guests, which gives the space such a unique and personal touch. A really warm and inviting spot to enjoy coffee and relax.

I’m a big advocate for towns needing more local coffee shops and love to show my support for them whenever I am able. I loved this place from my very first drink order here earlier in the week, and have been back three times since – a true testament to how good I think My Town’s Cafe is. The service is impeccable – friendly, patient staff who goes above and beyond in levels of customer service, cleanliness & personability in ways ordering a coffee at a big corp coffee chain just couldn’t match. I love the recommendations per the barista rec menu, the quality of the drinks, and the overall atmosphere. It makes my daily coffee all that the more enjoyable. My one qualm is the price, but it still doesn’t warrant me knocking a star off of the review because I understand now more than ever the price of legitimately every material needed to successfully run a business and make a profit has skyrocketed. I will continue to support and visit this coffee shop as a treat, however almost $10 for a medium matcha drink is a bit steep. Other than that, I cannot rave about this place enough and I’m really happy to support a gem of a coffee shop in the heart of East Islip like this one.

I have never been much of a coffee drinker, but damn this place has me hooked. The coffee is great and the staff are all super friendly. I can’t walk out their door without getting excited for my next cup. Most places I walk into have a basic menu, so my usual order is a large black coffee. This shop doesn’t just have seasonal specials, but staff picks as well, so there’s always something new to try. Not that I’ll need to try anything new as their spicy snowflake chai has become my absolute favorite beverage. I wish I could give y’all more than 5 stars cause y’all absolutely deserve it
