Quiet Thai restaurant serving ample delicious portions of traditional Thai dishes. I tried chicken kapow ($17.50 for lunch + $4.25 for a coke on Saturday) and it was delicious. Fast service and fair prices. Looks like their weekday lunch specials appear to be a much better value.

If you’re craving Thai cuisine, My Thai Place should be at the top of your list. From the moment you step inside, the vibrant atmosphere hints at the culinary delights to come. While it may not be strictly authentic Thai, the freshness of the ingredients truly sets this restaurant apart; you can taste the quality in every bite.

The flavors here are nothing short of exquisite. The balance of sweet, spicy, and savory is perfectly executed, with spice levels hitting just the right notes. For those who like a little kick, the Drunken Noodles with your choice of beef or chicken packs a rustic flavor and satisfying heat, rated at a solid 3 chili level.

One standout dish is the Panang Curry. Unlike what some might expect, My Thai Place does not offer red curry—only green curry and the wonderfully sweet Panang (there is a difference between red curry and panang curry)The ability to customize your curry with extra veggies, like red bell peppers and fresh basil, elevates it even further. I highly recommend the Chicken or Beef Panang Curry for a delightful, creamy experience.

Another must-try is the Pad Thai, which can be made with any protein of your choice. It’s perfectly stir-fried with just the right amount of sauce and garnished with fresh herbs. If you like lime with your Pad Thai, make sure to request it, as it’s not included on the plate. If you’re in the mood for something crispy, the Goong Tod shrimp appetizer is a delightful start, while the Wonton Soup is a comforting classic that will warm your soul.

For a twist on traditional flavors, don’t miss the Pad Se Ew. It’s another favorite that perfectly complements the restaurant’s lineup.

If you visit when it’s available, definitely consider the Massaman Curry from the specials menu; it’s a rich and fragrant dish that shouldn’t be overlooked.

We have been consistently going to this place since 2017 and overall have enjoyed this little staple in the Brambleton community. If I were to have any negative thing to say is that sometimes it seems they can not handle extremely busy times and sometimes it shows through quality of the dish (which they will correct for you) or less attentive staff.
Overall, My Thai Place is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to indulge in fresh, flavorful Thai food. The staff is accommodating, so feel free to ask for those extra veggies to personalize your meal. Whether you’re a spice aficionado or prefer something milder, there’s something here for everyone.

Everything we tried was good! I loved the green curry with bamboo shoots. Although I had gotten it with beef I feel as though it could have been better with a different meat choice. For appetizers we got crispy tofu and calamari which were both amazing and came with sauce! Service was a bit slow since it had seemed to be understaffed today, but everyone was wonderful! NICE decor and ambiance and i loved the florals! I would come here again! I do recommend the crab fried rice although it could be more salty!

We came at 5pm, place was pretty empty but hostess was also our server. Food was great and came pretty fast. Will definitely come back to try other dishes!

My husband and I went with our youngest and it was absolutely delicious! We got their special crispy pork belly and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Every single thing we ordered was perfect from the cocktails to dessert. Highly recommend this place! ❤️

The ambience of the restaurant was great although it should have had some music playing in the background. But for post-COVID standards the restaurant was great. We got beef and tofu vegetarian pad Thai and it was very delicious. The wine was good too, but not excellent. There was a small choice.

We went on a Saturday night and got right in. Very classy looking place. We were seated and our waitress was very prompt and attentive. Cocktails were creative and tasty! Food was also delicious. I think the best Thai place I have ever been to.

I’ve visited My Thai Place since it opened in 2007. However, I took it for granted since it was a short ride from my old home. I moved about 1.5 years ago and don’t get My Thai Place often. I recently had Thai imaging I was eating at My Thai Place and the other restaurant DIDN’T EVEN come close. I’m thankful I was able to have dinner there yesterday.

The food is always fresh, especially the seafood. While the decorations are at a minimum the REAL STAR IS THE FOOD. If you don’t live near Brambleton the food is WELL WORTH THE DRIVE!!!!

On this visit I had:
* (#13) Num Tok (beef)
* (#42) drunken noodles with beef – Thai hot
* (#36) seafood delight and NO scallions and squid
* (#43) basil fried rice with chicken and I added white onions

Food is hit or miss but mostly average along with the price increasing. The young short lady who waitresses at times can be unwelcoming. Not sure if I’ll return and will just go to the competition in chantilly.

Despite not being a big Thai food person, I enjoyed my visit. I got the April-only (2023; don’t know about other years) chef’s special, Isaan Classic, which had beef, chicken, a spicy dipping sauce, a soy basil dipping sauce, and some kind of salad (didn’t recognize the dressing).

It’s finger food. It got a little messy, but I was happy when I left.
