Great food and ambience is just perfect. I love how the restaurant is decorated, just right and not too much. Good lighting. Clean and spacious. Big plus is Paul, he served us and he was very friendly and accomodating. He even took time to explain their different sauces. This is a must visit here in Downtown Novato.

Nice spot to grab Thai food. Pad Thai and Yellow Curry dish didn’t disappoint. I have had the coconut curry soup here before and it’s tasty.

The tables are fairly close together. With that said, if you plan to have a serious talk, this might not be the best location since voices travel in there and it could be heard verbatim. Eventually, staff turned on music, to help drown out folk’s conversations. Didn’t mean to listen, but it is a small restaurant….

The Mango Salad with Trout was wonderfully light yet crispy and filling and the Red Curry were yummy and creamy but not too creamy. Loved the tanginess of the Grapefruit Tangerine Margarita. The Mango Sticky Rice was also good. The Tom Yum soup was okay. Service was good and attentive. Decor is beautiful.

I’m glad they’re here in downtown Novato.

When you enter My Thai (II), you are warmly greeted at the door and you get a lot of nice touches of authentic Thai decor. It is tastefully appointed and a great place to meet friends, bring family or even date night.

Their staff is friendly and service is surprisingly fast (more on this later).

Their selections are very tasty. We ordered Yellow curry, BBQ duck (yum!) as well as Pad Thai which are a favorite of my kids. The food is DELICIOUS with authentic flavors. Note that it is not as spicy as “true” thai cuisine but then again this is Marin County where most have no idea of what true thai spice is all about. Also I have kids and there’s no way that they could handle that. However I will go back on date night and explore that option.

When we ordered our food came out really fast. The place has several tables and 2 front of the house staff. I’m sure it might be different is it was packed on a Friday/Saturday night but we lucked out that day.

My family and I were so impressed with the experience we went for it and ordered 2 desserts. Fried Bananas and Mango sticky rice. Both were were AMAZING!

Although the competing Thai restaurant is nice, this place is a much nicer overall experience. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking it out!

Wow we came in and was seated right away. The food here is exceptional and you should find out for yourselves ! Had some bbq beef—-It was tender and flavorful along with a papaya salad had a great taste. We also had lamb curry which was a little spicy but much to my liking and more on the milder side of spicy. Good job I’ll be back!

Es te restaurante de hoy en adelante es uno de mis favoritos todo lo que pedimos está delicioso la ensalada de papaya verde es una explosión de sabor en tu boca el lam curry está para chulearse los dedos

My husband and I eat at this restaurant every week for lunch. We always order off until the dinner menu. For the first time ever, we decided to use door dash. We ordered the same items as we always do. When we received our food there was no rice to go with our curry, no hot sauce or crushed peanuts. When I called to asked how we can make this right, the woman on the phone chuckled at me and was completely mean. I couldn’t believe it. After all my loyalty, this was the treatment I got in return. Not very kind.

Al fresco dining. The food was hot, fresh and full of flavor, and the flowers are tasty too! Excellent service, my first time here but certainly not my last!

Wonderful Thai restaurant. It’s a nice mix of traditional and modern dishes. Really friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. I recommend reservations for peak times. It fills up by 6:00 on Friday and Saturday.

I ordered takeout, so I can only comment on the food. The egg rolls were quite soggy, far from crispy and ultimately they went uneaten. The basil fried rice was better, though a little bland. Overall, expensive for very average quality.

Review Update 3/7/24:
Following the last two times we dined here (last week and tonight), we are cutting our losses and going to our favorite Thai place in San Anselmo. The food at this restaurant is good. The service seems to be hit and miss. It seems our table was ignored the entire time we were here tonight and last week. They took our order, dropped the food and that was it. They seemed to go to every other table for refills, etc, but skipped our table. The last two times we dined here (last week and tonight), we ordered green curry fried rice. I swear, both times, they gave us basil fried rice. We could not taste any green curry and it had egg plant. It still tasted good. I find the food at this restaurant to be good, but as another reviewer stated per their review approx. six months ago, it seems we got the same cold/unwanted treatment. Oh well. Moving forward, we’ll go to our favorite Thai restaurant in San Anselmo. Too bad this place couldn’t provide good service.

Initial Review:
Really good food. Sometimes the wait to be seated is long, but it’s worth it. We have a tendency to come in the evening during the rush, so a lot of the time, we end-up waiting to be seated for about 10-15 minutes. The place is tiny, so there’s not a lot of wiggle room, but the ambiance is nice; reminds me of a miniature Osha Thai across the bay.

The chicken spring rolls are so good! Not too many Thai restaurants have chicken spring rolls; usually only vegetable spring rolls. The green mango salad and yellow curry was delicious. This is definitely our go-to Thai place when in Novato.
