This place is in the vicinity of Sample Gate and one of the best places I have ever been to. It has a lot of vegetarian options. I tried Lee Nah noodles and Fried Banana with Ice Cream. The food quality was great and it was delicious. The biggest perk is food quantity is great at cheaper price!

If you’re a fan of Thai cuisine, then My Tai Downtown is the place to go on IU campus. The food is absolutely delicious, and they are more than willing to accommodate any changes or requests you may have for your dish. Nye, person who waited our table, was incredibly patient and made sure our food was prepared exactly the way we wanted it. Not only was the food satisfying, but it also had an amazing taste. I highly recommend giving My Tai Downtown a try if you’re in the mood for some tasty Thai food.

Went to My Thai for my first time and had a Thai lager, steamed dumplings and the Duck Prad Krow spice level 2. All was very delicious but I must say it was much hotter than my girlfriends dish also ordered at spice level 2 ️. All things aside there service was wonderful and the server was attentive, duck was cooked to perfection and the dish was utterly delicious. Overall a splendid experience with a wonderful outdoor patio ambiance.

We had high hopes for this Thai restaurant in Bloomington, Ind., but both dishes were far too sweet. I think it’s criminal that pad Thai tastes like a candy bar these days. I will continue to punish all restaurants that keep sweetening savory dishes.

I love eating at My Thai Downtown! The food is great. I personally love the pad thai, pad kee mow, and Thai iced tea. The service is always fast and efficient; perfect for carry out and lunch.

We ordered carry out. The food was very underwhelming. The tom kha was lacking flavor, and everything in it was cut so largely it was awkward to eat. The fresh rolls were a nope. We order them everywhere we go and unfortunately those were the worst ones we’ve ever had. The wood Sen salad was ok. I really wished it would have had more dressing as it was really dry and not very cohesive. For some reason the thai chili sauce chicken didn’t come with rice and I had to pay extra for sticky rice when I would have preferred jasmine, but it wasn’t even an option online. I really don’t know why it doesn’t come with it or if that’s an online error that needs fixed. My mom’s pineapple chicken came w jasmine rice and there was no charge. The chili chicken was just ok as well as the pineapple chicken. I do appreciate the high quality of the chicken though.

I got takeout from My Thai and it was good! I got the drunken noodles with Shrimp as my protein. The shrimp had an odd texture, perhaps a bit over cooked but still fine. Overall I prefer Siam House but My Thai is not a bad option.

Excellent Thai food! We were served quickly. The only problem is the waitress treated us like she did not want us there. She did not clear the empty plate to serve the main dish piled everything all over. We were not even finished eating and she’s asking us if we want to take home our food. We had three adults and four children two of the children were under 3. She gave us our check and added a $20.00 tip. She acted like we weren’t going to give her a tip.
