I hope to come back for a meal. I was just stopping for a snack and drink. Spring rolls had great flavor, nice size, very hot and fresh. Thai tea has great flavor! The server was very nice and attentive. Nice window seats.

10/10 – best Thai I have had outside Thailand. I tend not to follow through on my cravings for Thai as I am generally let down by the Pad Thai at most places. Read a few reviews on My Thai and decided to give it a go…generally these cozy, family run spots live up to the hype when it comes to taste. Service was very friendly, the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, and the food absolutely shattered any and all expectations. I left with leftovers of the Pad Thai and Red Curry and had to pick up the pieces of my mind in the process, as it was BLOWN. If you want an unforgettable Thai experience here in Victoria, this is the spot to go. I already cannot wait to go back!

We celebrated Father’s Day at this restaurant tonight. We’re very happy to have found a really good Thai restaurant in Victoria. Thai food is our family’s favourite cuisine and we think this place makes the best authentic Thai food in Victoria. The food was so flavourful and the portion generous. Can’t wait to go back.

This is one of my favorite Thai places in Victoria. The owners are always very friendly and the food is fantastic. Try some of the duck dishes and the chef’s specials (where most of the duck dishes are).

What you can get for paying over $70/2 ppl:

1. More than one hour waiting time. Server didn’t give us a heads up when we walking into the restaurant. Apparently they only got one chef and a bunch of takeout order

2. A dining space full of frying oil smoke and ordors. No divider between cooking area and dining area, not to mention the noises from range hood. So you basically eat in a restaurant kitchen. And don’t forget you need to inhale those harmful smoke for more than one hour because you still waiting for food

3. Overpriced items on the menu. I
don’t understand why the owner charged such high prices for this dining experience

This is a small place; the kitchen literally has room for one person only, and even though the restaurant became full soon after we arrived, there was only one server (I’m assuming the two people were the owners). So if you want fast food, go somewhere else and don’t leave a bad review just because they didn’t achieve the impossible for you. If you want great food and friendly service at a relaxed pace, this is a fantastic place to go. This place seems to be busy very often, and therefore the one person in the kitchen who appears to have 6 arms and assorted other super powers still won’t be able to get the food to everyone in the crowd quickly. But it’s worth the wait; all of our favourite Thai dishes were as good or better than any other Thai place we’ve been to. The decor isn’t much, but it’s clean and comfortable. Again, go here for the food; it will make you forget the decor.

The food was okay but it’s awfully expensive considering something like pad Thai is 99% noodles. You’ll need a shower and to wash your clothes when you get home because you will smell like the grill. Waiter was nice. The service and receiving of food was very slow, waiting about 45 mins or more for only 2 dishes to come out. It’s a good thing we weren’t on a schedule the day we went otherwise we would have left without even eating. Oddly high review score for what it is.

Called in for a late dinner and we definitely weren’t disappointed. The spring rolls were the some of the best I’ve had – including multiple trips to Thailand. Just a really good flavour, perfect size and the homemade plum sauce complemented them perfectly. The mains were big portions and really flavoursome. Quite happy to have a lunch for tomorrow out of it. Unfortunately we’re only here for 1 night but will be back if we’re ever lucky enough to be in Victoria again.

We commissioned Jared and Patcharin to cater our wedding and we couldn’t have been more delighted with them! The food was excellent, really creative, beautifully displayed, and the price was really reasonable. Everyone at the wedding agreed: Big recommend!

Classic and authentic Thai food. Best in town! We got 2 curries (medium spice) and it was so perfect! Business is owned by a young couple with a toddler. Love being able to support a hardworking local family. The second generation cafe owners were super personable as and friendly.

Food was fantastic and quantities were good. We were so full by the end, it was lovely to take a walk after.

Small cafe, so you can smell the food being made and it transported you to the warm streets of Bangkok.
