We were on the hunt for a breakfast burrito and oh boy we found this hidden gem! The flavor was out of this world!!! We got the trio and chorizo burritos, by far the best breakfast burrito Ive ever had. I highly recommend this spot. Its located in the Habberfield Building. The atmosphere is timeless with the charm of the old building.

This is the most relaxing and peaceful coffee/small cafe in Bakersfield. The coffee is better than anyone’s, and I mean that, in town. The barista was pleasant and didn’t mind explaining to my 19 year old son the difference between a cap and a latte. The coffee could win awards and the ambience was pretty in a peaceful way. I ordered the avocado toast, don’t judge, and it blew me away with the simple delight. There is another part attached to the coffee shop that serves food and their pastrami fries sent my son and I into a heaven that only comes with getting something that good from a hidden little shop. I don’t do food pics, but this one broke all the rules and it gets a spot on the shelf. Five star reviews are hard to come by and hard to give and this little place deserves it 100%. No one in this village comes close to how good that is. Not the kind of coffee you drink for the morning jump. It’s the kind you sit and sip and thank the gods that someone knows what coffee should really taste like. Thank you 502 for a perfect place to spend time with my son without being bothered or rushed. Quiet, clean and comfortable. They even have heaters, inside, that give you the choice to be close or not. I enjoyed this little treasure immensely.

I had never been to this place, by the way, the name has changed to My Spot, Downtown Grill, Inc., and she helped me with my order and was extremely nice.
I recently began eating Vegan and, while My Spot is not strictly Vegan, they will make Vegan food.
She talked me into the Lentil Tacos. They were perfect.
The flavor profile worked very well together and I was quite happy.
I also had tortilla chips and salsa. The chips were crunchy and flavorful.
The salsa was okay, but the tacos and chips took care of that. They both over shadowed it.
The music playing in the background led to a relaxed atmosphere and general happiness.
I look forward to going to My Spot again.

I have gotten a few items from My Spot, this has been the best so far. I got the bacon omelette with a bunch of veggies and this came loaded. I definitely could have gone without the bread and the hash brown as they weren’t on par with the omelette at all. Will give a few more items a try soon!

Came from san luis obispo and wanted to try this place out. Owner was super nice and personable, gave me a free water 🙂 I had a PIPING HOT breakfast burrito. Love that they serve these all day. Very fresh with lots of sausage bacon and ham. Has a coffee shop attached to it and SUPER afordable prices. Normally I’d pay 50% more for this size burrito. 10/10

My Spot is a great spot! Eddie, the owner, is an awesome guy and very accommodating. He was quick to come up with a vegan option that wasn’t on the menu. His jackfruit “carnitas” torta was excellent!! Everyone I’ve talked to loves the menu and service.

The food was so excellent!! I didn’t even know this place existed but, now I do and I will be going back!! Only complaint I can say is that Bakersfield, in the summer is gnarly and miserable. So, when I got there it was just as hot inside this place as it was outside. Still won’t deter me for a repeat visit. I’ll just take my food to go. That being said, the honestly do have the eating area/lounging area really nicely decorated and set up.
