Stopped in for a Slice, 6-wings and Mex Coke 500ml.

The pizza slice looked and tasted old – couldn’t even taste or see any sauce. Bottom was totally Burnt.

Wings had hardly any sweet and sassy sauce – Thanks for not charging me for 1 extra ranch as their ranch portion is extremely small.

Best part of this meal was the ice cold Coke de Mexico…

$24.71 for an old slice of pizza, tasteless wings and an ice cold Coca-Cola in a glass bottle…

Unfortunately, I can’t say I’ll be running back here anytime soon.

My brother was visiting from out of town, and he wanted to go to his favorite pizzeria from his old neighborhood, My Slice Pizzeria. I’m so glad he did, because we had a fantastic experience. From the start, the person behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. We were deciding between Carne Asada and Al Pastor. She suggested half/half and both were outstanding. This is truly NYC Pizza done in a Southwestern style. I’m from New Jersey, so the crust is as important to me as the toppings. Without a doubt, My Slice has authentic NYC crust. Their history as a standout pizza choice is still true today. If there is new ownership, congratulations for keeping the same ingredients, recipe and pizza chefs. An absolutely delicious pizza, without a doubt.

Possibly the saddest margarita pizza slice I have ever seen or eaten. It was basically a slice of cheese pizza with some tomato slices, mozzarella, and basil slapped on it and re-heated. As a slice of cheese, not bad. As a slice of margarita pizza, not good.

I didn’t realize it but this was my second visit to “My Slice of Pie ” I had previously attended a Yelp Elite event for the business. I do so many reviews I had forgotten but, I saw the sign and it must of triggered a memory so I stopped.
The sign on the window states “Best NY Style pizza in Arizona ” and I am here to tell you it is true!!! This hidden gem has legit NY style pizza and is the best I have tried in Arizona to date I ordered a slice of sausage and it was pizza perfection it was crispy on the edges just the way I like it the undercarriage of the slice was charred just right. The slice had zero flop their dough is crisp and light they use quality mozzarella and sausage. On the “Dave Portnoy” scale I give this slice a solid 8.5 and if you watch him you know it’s a great score! Please support them.

They sure keep the prices a mystery. $4.45 for a can of Jumex ‍ Nowhere on the menu or counter were prices listed, and nothing was mentioned when I ordered. This lack of transparency feels misleading. Restaurants should be upfront with their pricing—especially for something as simple as a canned drink. It left a bad impression. Pizza was ok, but being scammed sure left a bad taste in my mouth.

Response to their response, I showed a picture of your whole menu to show how there isn’t any prices listed ANYWHERE…. I even grabbed the menu on the counter and still showed no prices. I stood their for a few minutes with the dilemma to order wings or not but was confused to what anything costed. This import beverage you speak of is .79 cents at your local grocery store. Stating I could’ve asked for water just misses the whole point of my complaint.

Awesome pizza! Easily the best we’ve had here in the valley in a long time. Small business and comfy vibes. My Husband Got a look in the kitchen and it was very clean and the cook was very precise. This is our new pizza spot! We just didn’t enjoy the jalapeño bread. The cheese cake is not made there but it is pretty delicious!

We always come back for the Al Pastor pizza. It’s so unique and delicious. They’re consistent with the quality of their food – amazing every time.

We ordered the meatball appetizer for our toddler and the sauce was on the sweeter side (but still fresh tasting) which he and I both loved. The sweet and sassy wings were so good too.

Love that it’s still a hidden gem too – busy but not too busy. (We came here when the wait at Trevor’s was over an hour)

Also – don’t sleep on the cheesecake! It’s just like NYC.

Just left this place 15 min ago. A lunch special (2 slices and a soda), most people would anticipate would cost 10-12$? I think thats fair nowadays. My cost, 17$ plus tax and I tipped the cashier because she was nice. $20+ for two slices and a fountain soda is incomprehensible. That is more than a good pizza spot in NYC. There is a reason prices are not listed anywhere in the restaurant. And judging from how the owner has responded to other reviewers talking about pricing here, I think he might be delusional. I will be completely honest, the pizza isn’t terrible. It’s not great, but not bad. If Portnoy came here I think he’d put it in the low 7’s. But to spend $20 for two slices and a fountain soda, with all of the other premiere pizza spots nearby (Trevors, La Grande Orange), I’m honestly upset with myself more than the business. Safe to say I will not be a returning customer.

I just stumbled upon this place and I’m glad I did. This place is my new favorite pizza place of all time in Arizona. It’s definitely a must try. The pizza really does taste like it’s from New York. And the wings are way oversized and delicious. Definitely get your money’s worth.
