Ordered some takeout from My Place. Went with the Chicken and Rib plates. Comes with fries and rice. Thought both were excellent. The house sauce is good, goes well with the Chicken. Really like the dry rub on the ribs. Cod fish balls were good as well.

We had a delicious simple dinner here yesterday. Not only were the portions huge, the quality was very high. Shrimp and Octopus were tender. The bread was soft and fresh. The whole chicken platter was yummy and could easily feed a family of 4 or 5 for under $20! Can’t get that at McDonalds these days! The dining room was clean and inviting yet no-frills. We will definitely be back. A hidden gem.

I ordered grilled pork loin with rice and broccoli. I received pork loin with French fries and broccoli. The pork loin was dry and tough. The fries were meh. Tasted like the standard frozen variety. Service, while friendly, could use some polishing and attention to detail. There are way too many good Portuguese restaurants in the area to justify a return visit.

Disappointed. tried to go on the way home to pick up food – checked online hours open until 8. Great! Get there around 7:30 sign outside is glowing bright with open, lights are on and I see three workers, two sitting down one standing and a cook in the back. Sign says open until 9pm on the side of the building and the light up sign under the bright glowing open sign says 9 too. Tried to call too while standing right outside the window and no one would answer.

So good me and my wife split the rib and chicken combo it was under 20 bucks the sauce is fantastic super friendly clean fast absolutely loved it old school Portuguese reminds me of my childhood cooking with my VooVoo definitely going back can’t wait to bring my son’s Chow down some ribs
