Had the chicken fried steak, was not anything to write home about but was filling and edible. Was really odd seeing the owner and cook communicate. There was an obvious tension between them when the cook kept rolling her eyes at the owner when the owner walked away. Fairly decent price as well.

My Place is nothing to shake a stick at BUT it has very good standard American food (think burgers and fries) and service as quick as a fast food joint. Also, bonus, a salad bar! Friendly staff and good food. Definitely glad we stopped.
