My Pizza Place is a father and son owned business. We strive to make amazing food for a reasonable price. We are not a chain and don’t plan on being one. We have a local feel to our place. Everything is made to order and we stay as fresh as possible. Ribs, chicken, lasagna, pizza, wings, grinders, subs, salads, and bread all made fresh in house. The atmosphere was very nice.The owner was superb. The pizza lacked flavor. Every friday, my son and I eat vegetarian pizza. It needed some spices in the sauce. I love the fact that he put a little container of black olives in the pizza for me. thoughtfulness goes a long way.

First time here. Tried the Chicago style. Heavy! The sauce and cheese are very good. Sauce is very robust & tomatoey and the cheese blend is more flavorful than most places. The inside is small, typical of a pizza joint. Couple of chairs and tables adequate while you wait.

My husband has finally found a place with Detroit style that I like. Not too greasy or dense. The hand tossed we ordered for me, was the pie with too much cheese. That has to be a first. Not the too much cheese part, that happens all the time. I mean the part where a Detroit style pizza didn’t have too much cheese for my tastes, but their hand tossed did, lol.
They have nice veggies and generous amounts. Real mushrooms, which I prefer to canned. Black and green olives, and artichokes available.
Anyways I have been living around here for 15 yrs and yet to find Detroit style that was cooked so perfectly and with such nice proportions for all the ingredients. Low heartburn pizza for me too, and I even ate jalepenos and preserved meat.
All the crusts seem to have a (bis)quick style levening, which only really came out in the tatse and appearance of the hand tossed, when reheated.
Excited to have found a place that makes so many styles and am curious to try their other 3. They also have Chicago deep dish that looks as tall as a layer cake, and 2 other pan styles-one looks like maybe an Italian-herb focaccia-type crust, and the other looks like a drenched in sauce and cheese casserole style.

Pretty good local pizza place that everyone in the area raves about. It’s tasty and consistent so it gets my recommendation. I think I liked the round better than the square Detroit style. Cheese bread was pretty good as well and they make their ranch in house.

I grabbed 2 slices and a pop at lunch time. The slices each took up a whole paper plate. New York style thin crust. They were cooked perfectly. Sauce was perfect, these slices couldn’t get any better. Great price and friendly staff . I will be back for sure.

Ive been on a mission to find the best pizza near my house in Sterling heights. Will let’s just say this place is DEFINITELY in my top 5 so far!
I ordered a medium hand tossed round pizza with pepperoni, mushroom, onion, and jalapeno. Of course with garlic butter crust .
When I opened the box it was like heavens gates appeared. A golden brown crust and cheese melted to perfection! First bite was incredible. You can taste the freshness and love that was put into this pie. This is one of them pizzas where even though you’re full you just can’t stop eating it!
With my wife’s sweet chili buffalo wings… The wings were perfectly cooked and the sauce is just right ☺️.
I highly suggest any one reading this to try My Pizza Place. Which has definitely become “my pizza place” for now on.

They have the BEST baked potatoes. Two big potatoes in a pie pan covered in deliciousness. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars across the board was because you can’t order online.

I truly wish online ordering was available so I could make sure the pizza is made how I had initially ordered it. Ordered a pie yesterday that was a simple two topping pizza and instead ended up with a specialty on one half and single topping on the other. I had to pick off the extra toppings that I did not want/ordered which I see as a waste of money and ingredients.
